Have you been writing in your off-time in hopes of someday being published? Don’t just sit there … ThinkUp!
The first annual Writer’s Digest Conference will be held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square, NY, September 18-20, 2009. This isn’t your traditional writing conference but rather focuses on the business of getting published. If three days of experts who have been in the trenches isn’t enough, each attendee will have a 15-minute personal appointment with a Writer’s Digest editor to discuss their query letter, book proposal or self-published book.
Full details and registration information can be found online at writersdigestconference.com.

I agree with all above. Notification of this is way too late to make plans to attend!
And - The costs are out of the question! Neither $395 for all, $99 for Friday, $209 for Saturday, & $159 for Sunday only is affordable to most of us. This is a ludicrous amount of $ to expend. Nowhere does it say the hotel is included. Then you have to pay another $300 - $500 for a room??? WOAH!
PS Upon going to find out about it one finds that “Online registration for Writer’s Digest Conference is now closed. However, you can still register in person the day of the event” & at the Mariott Marquis you get: "We’re sorry. This event is now closed to new reservations. We’re Sorry.”
