In this country, Westglow in Boone, NC; Greenhouse Spa in Grand Prairie, TX; Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Beach and, in Greece, Mykonos Grand Hotel. I think my very most favorite place to go for skin is my facialist, Sofia Katzman, whose skintelligence about skin has helped me age less disgracefully than I might have.

Jane - is Sofia K. in L.A.  I used to have a wonderful Sofia there years ago and I wonder if it’s the same gal! (She’s actually in Century City)

The closest thing to a spa that I’ve ever seen is our neighbor’s hot tub.  As far as my skin is concerned, it is covered with lots of soft white and black fur and the skin is not visible.

DicetheNice, the closest thing my cats have seen is a tub and they run like hell! They never want their skin to be visible either!

I’ve never been to a spa either. I had a massage by a friend of mine and it was heavenly. I also have an old claw foot tub (one day I’ll add on a shower) which greets me daily with a nice deep soak. Here’s to hot water certified hands.
