“the indomitable and irresistible…”?
I think even my most devoted readers would…throw up a little. I did.
I will be here on Oscar night, shallow and bitchy. Nuf’ said.
See you all! Please log on and have some fun.
My television didn’t survive its “near-something experience” this week so regretfully I will not be joining you. Or blissfully won’t be. I really didn’t want to watch. Not after last year. I haven’t really recovered from last year. I think I prefer to remember the days of corny jokes and elegance. Maybe I’ll get it repaired week. Maybe not. The news bugs me of late. I no longer read Drudge Report or Huffington Post or the local blog with a print edition. I;m eternally pessimistic but do enjoy an optimistic world from time to time. Libya sort of finally turned me off of turning on the television. Or pulling up the news on the internet.
Pluto in Capricorn apparently is good for revolutions. I’ll wait for the news of ours on wowOwow. Unless Hillary is installed after the coup. That I don’t want to know about.
Baby, I am eternally optimistic but I barely scan anything in print and haven’t watched a full news report in weeks. It is all running together!
With the new astrology can Pluto still be in Capricorn?? Maybe that’s why all this is happening! I think you are right about waiting for news on wowOwow. At least we can get a bit of humor with it!
The “new” astrology is really the “old” astrology and while the sidereal system, the “new” astrology, has its place in the “affairs of kings” the reality is that the tropical system, the “old” astrology, is more exacting, and revealing, with regard to the “affairs of men.” And revolutions are always the affairs of men. Not kings.
One thing is for sure. The biggest revolution of them all, our own, occurred during Pluto in Capricorn. And, well, here we are again.
If you believe in such things. I do. And I don’t. Depends on where my Moon is at any given moment. I have an interesting chart. One astrologer nicknamed me Atilla the Nun. Sort of sums up the chart. And I suppose sums up Baby Snooks.
Love you, Mr. wOw!
Can’t wait to join you here on wOw as you host the Academy Awards on Sunday.
This is something different for me. I do not know how well I can multi-task.
Sounds like fun! I’ll try to be here!
I will try to be here too.
Excellent! Shallow and bitchy is much more fun
Irresistible? Indomitable? Shallow? Bitchy? Maybe, maybe not. I prefer to think of you as delightfully human. Due to some heating issues, I’ll be in the upstairs TV room Sunday where the TV is and the computer is not. I will be with you in spirit, though.
Dear Haunted Lady…well, I’m very definitely human. Delightful? Let’s ask B.
I’ll try to be nice, actually. Not horrible, anyway. Nothing’s easier than being negative.
I don’t usually watch this cattle call. Well, okay. I tune in every so often. But this year I am curious. Will Franco and Hathaway deliver and roll with it?
Dear Mr. Wow … I consider you smart, charming and edgy … and in these days of selling grandma up the river in the cause of furthering some god forsaken flavour of the month political correctness … well, charming and edgy works for me.
5:57 we are minutes away from the E! red Carpet festivities.
Mr. Wow has not spent the day steeped in movie stuff. I’m getting enough of that tonight. I loaded my iPOd with hundreds more songs—mostly Beatles and Judy Garland (big new box set) and some Rosie Clooney.
Had to assure a friend that Fayne Dunaway was NOT appeaing on Dancing with the Stars” Gagged over Elton John naming Lady Gaga as his child’s godmother, and B. and me are mourning the sudden death of a pet. Happened yesterday.

Ryan and Guilian have begin. He looks more shrunken every year and so does she.
He’s interviewing…Jennifer Lawrence, of course they don’t bother to put her damn name up! She’s pretty and was terrif in “The Winter’s Bone”
Oh, I am writing in bold type because my font is tiny and I can barely see it, which is really bad for me as it is then more difficult to catch my frequent typos and spelling errors. I’m not trying to showy or over-dramatic.
Natalie Portman on the carpet in flowy white to accomadate her coming baby. LOvely.
Kelly Osboune with Guiliana. She is sweet.
Oh, the business of the FONT—does anybody but Mr. Wow have this problem?!!!
Cheyl Hines on the carpet. Nice to know she’s still around, I guess.
90% of the embalming fluid…ah, the stars–are still in traffic.
