Tired of being mostly viewed as a sex symbol, Kim Cattrall of "Sex and the City" fame went off to London, where talented girls can go to really act — and not be typecast. Now, the toughest of critics has dubbed the actress the biggest sensation. Watch me on FOX News for all the Cattrall buzz:

Seems now most actors or actress get notice when they do stage. I don’t mind that. But in Kim’s case she is good at any venue of entertainment. Bravo Kim!

Smart move, considering the Sex & the City franchise is fraying.  Thinking ahead, that Kim.

I simply love Kim Cattrell! It really was a a smart move on her part. There are some actors and actresses that relish in the typecast thrust upon them, the femme fatale, the bad boy, the noble and honest guy, the Black guy who espouses wisdom, etc. etc.

But I could always see this certain something about her where I knew she was more than Samantha (her Sex and the City character) and that she was destined for more. Good for her!

She’s sensational in the movie, "The Ghost Writer."

Many years ago… hmmm… I think the year would have been 1989 maybe.. I worked in a juvenile detention facility. I’m a couple years younger than Kim Cattrall. I don’t remember the name of the movie she was in at the time but it was something of a hit. I came to work one day and all the kids had seen the movie the night before at movie time and were all telling me that I looked like her! I could see it at the time. Wish i could remember the movie!

CT,

Was it Midnight Crossing? Or Police Academy, which came out in 1986?

Good for her! I’m so over that SATC nonsense. The last movie was awful—a real forced effort.
