Ex-Miss Nevada Katie Rees Peeved at Trump for Dethroning Her for Naughty Photos, But Not Carrie Prejean
Ex-Miss Nevada Katie Rees says she lost her crown in 2007 for inappropriate photos.
Donald’s Trump’s decision to allow Carrie Prejean to keep her Miss California title has been quite controversial.
Former Miss Nevada Katie Rees is the latest person to cry foul – especially since Trump stripped her of her crown for inappropriate photographs in 2007. "Semi-nude photos are semi-nude photos," Katie Rees tells E! Online. Rees added:
I don’t know why I am the only one who was punished for their behavior. I was only 19 when those photos were taken of me, and it was me in my personal life, far before I was crowned Miss Nevada. Carrie actually posed for these professional semi-nude photos. I think that’s worse.
Rees is calling it a "huge double standard." And the dethroned pageant queen isn’t the only one upset with Trump’s decision.
Marketing expert John Tantillo publicized his frustrations today in a Fox Forum column and MSNBC anchors took to the airways immediately after Tuesday’s press conference to express their distaste for Prejean’s second chance. Tell us: What do you think of Carrie Prejean being allowed to keep her crown?

Trump really should have known better. This whole beauty pageant thing is insulting to women. Think of all the worthwhile news pieces that won’t make it on the news tonight because of all these petty arguments.
" Either that or perhaps he accrued additonal "benefits" from Miss California that Miss Nevada wouldn’t provide? =)"
Nice, classy comment there…
You are dissing me about tactics employed to dismiss women — it’s a beauty pageant for god’s sake! Just looking at the fact…….when situations are the same, and the individuals are treated differently — there’s always a variable.
And, why does it dismiss the women any more than the man involved? He’s the one making a different decision.
Think their outrage has more to do with defending the "anti-gay marriage" poster child — then worrying about women.
