The '9 to 5' Broadway Opening With Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and More! (Photos)

The beloved 1980 movie starring Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton has been revived on Broadway in ‘9 to 5: The Musical.’

Photo Essay

One of wowOwow’s most charming women, Lily Tomlin, caught Thursday’s Broadway opening of the sassy “9 to 5: The Musical.” Based on the 1980 movie roles made famous by Tomlin, Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton, “9 to 5: The Musical” is the hilarious story of three female friends and co-workers who ban together to turn the tables on their big, bad boss. Click through this slide show for more photographs of the celebrities who took time from their busy schedules to make it to Thursday night’s grand opening.

BREAK A LEG YOU ALLS!  Hope the script is available soon for our community theatre group.  We need more roles for (gasp) mature women!  You are all shinning stars from the original movie up to Thursday night’s opening.  WowOwow!

Barbara!  You have to rent it… it’s a classic.  All about strong chicks… and the boss they overcome.  Required viewing for WOW women, I should think :)

Little Fefe ~ There is nothing wrong with being too idealistic. It is just your dreams sparkling.

Hollywood movie producers (and script writers) better wake up and put the 3 of them in another movie soooooooooooooon :D

This must be a way to spend 2 wonderful hours.  Way to go, girls, and I hope you all win all kinds of Tonys.  BTW, each and every one of you look fantastic.

I wish the Masthead would show us more pix of Dolly, Jane and Lily….
