Alfie Patten, 13, Not the Baby's Daddy, DNA Test Proves

A DNA test proves that 13-year-old Alfie Patten — who doesn’t look a day over eight — isn’t the father of a baby conceived by his 15-year-old girlfriend. The birth of newborn Maisie Roxanne, born February 9, caused quite a commotion when The Sun tabloid showed pictures of 13-year-old Patten holding the infant he thought was his child.
The paternity test came after other teenagers claimed to have had intercourse with the 15-year-old mother, Chantelle Steadman. The results, reported in the Mirror, conclude that she wasn’t playing house exclusively with Alfie, according to Jezebel. While many might assume that Alfie is relieved, he actually may be quite upset.
Alfie’s dad has said that while his son doesn’t understand the enormity of the situation, he was desperate to be a responsible and devoted father. The dad reportedly told The Sun that Alfie was near his girlfriend’s side when she was in the delivery room. "He could have shrugged his shoulders and sat at home on his PlayStation," he said. "But he has been at the hospital every day."
Well, Alfie, guess it’s back to the video games.

Happy to share a laugh with you.
I wonder why wowOwow has posted this story. This is more a Maury Povich type teaser.
Let me tell you though, if I were his mother I would be ready to murder that 15 year old!
When my son had just turned 14 the summer before his freshman year of high school, he met a girl at the local pool who was about to enter her senior year! My son is very tall (now he’s 6’ 7") and apparently the age difference was of no consequence to this girl. She kept phoning him and making arrangements for them to hang out. Although my son was very flattered by this attention, he was in over his head and I put a stop to it. First I told the girl to stop calling. I told her she was too old to be getting involved with a 14 year old boy and that I wanted her to stay away. Well, she started having a friend phone in case I answered and then she would get on the phone. That happened one time, and then I took it to the mother. I phoned the mother and told her what was going on, told her that I’m sure if the roles were reversed and my son was the 17 yr old and her daughter was the 14 yr old SHE would be upset and that I felt the same. I could tell this woman was actually a little annoyed and defensive with me, but she agreed to make her daughter stop and that was the last of that. My son is 26 years old now.
It is not a good story. If we were realistic then we would be putting stories in all the newspapers about all the 11-12-13 year old girls having babies in this country. Some of those fathers are probably 13 also. So let’s start showing the fathers of all the babies born to 13 year old children today and tomorrow etc.
Actually that’s not a good idea in fact both the girls and boys would enjoy being the center of attention. So we wil continue to support many of these babies by our taxes. Just do not give them publicity. And the same goes for Alfie and those families.
