Voices From the Moon (Photos)
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the first moonwalk, here is a rare look at Apollo 11 and other lunar experiences.
Viking Studio’s Voices From the Moon: Apollo Astronauts Describe Their Lunar Experiences
provides amazing photographs of the historic Apollo 11 landing on the moon on July 20, 1969. Written by acclaimed authors Andrew Chaikin and Victoria Kohl, the book provides first-person accounts from astronauts including Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Flip through this photo essay and enjoy an armchair tour that’s simply out-of-this-world.

Nice photos! Neil Armstrong actually goofed. He was supposed to say, "That’s one small step for a man…", but, instead, he said, "That’s one small step for man."
All that gave birth to my love of astronomy. Here’s an interesting article on how NASA lost the original film, but Hollywood has restored it to better quality: http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5iBVTQrzLdiPuDuEzxgn__2bzpw0gD99FNTT00
I don’t advocate violence, except for self-defense. But I can sympathize with Buzz. These idiots who propagate that nonsense about the moon-landing being "faked" are so wacked, it’s pathetic.
I’ve already seen one of those so-called documentaries that claim to debunk the moonshots. Reputable scientists have shot down that bubble-gum physics like Einstein explaining advanced calculus to a pre-schooler. More than that, such assertions are slap in the face to the entire space industry, and to your and my common sense.
