While family and friends bid farewell to former "Charlie’s Angels" star Farrah Fawcett yesterday in Los Angeles, Michael Jackson’s family was anxiously awaiting the details of the pop superstar’s will.

Fawcett died June 25 at the age of 62 after a long battle with cancer. Her longtime partner, Ryan O’Neal, was a pallbearer and did a reading at the funeral. Also in attendance were her best friend Alana Stewart (ex-wife of singer Rod Stewart), and former "Charlie’s Angels" costars Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd. Redmond O’Neal, the 24-year-old son of O’Neal and Fawcett, was temporarily released from jail to attend the funeral service. He also served as a pallbearer and gave a reading. Redmond is in jail for drug possession. Fawcett’s casket was covered in sprays of yellow and orange flowers.

"Good-bye sweet girl," said Stewart. "She’s the most beautiful angel in heaven … She always seemed so indestructible."

Meanwhile, Michael Jackson’s will has surfaced as his family battles for custody of his three children and plans the music star’s funeral. People.com says Jackson left all his assets to the Michael Jackson Family Trust and has named his mother, Katherine, 79, as guardian of his children. The Hollywood Reporter says the will names singer Diana Ross as the alternate guardian for his kids, if his mother is otherwise unable to care for them. There are reports the children aren’t biologically his. As for the funeral location, there has been talk of Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County, CA, and the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, but nothing has been finalized, says the LA Times.

Rest in Peace Farrah..you battled a tough fight with cancer and you proved yourself to be a very strong woman up till the end.  Your beauty will shine on in Heaven!

I would like to add, God Bless your family for not making Farrah’s funeral  turn into a circus and went the private route instead….Now there is Class!!!

Farrah brings back so many wonderful memories for me.  I first became aware of her when my young teen son had a poster of her up in his "fort" .  It was the first time he indicated any interest in "girls".  Well, he cerainly picked a beauty.  I then started watching "Charlies Angels", of course it was toward the end of Farrah’s character, then they brought in the beautiful Cheryl Ladd.  But over the years, he kept Farrah in the place of honor on the wall, eventually adding Cheryl Tieggs.  I also became a fan of Farrah - she became quite a good actress in some very good movies.  One of my favorites was "The Substitute Wife".  We’ll miss you honey.

The "Burning Bed" and "Small Sacrifices" were wonderful TV made movies…she was excellent in both films.

I loved her in Charlies Angles and your so right about "Burning Bed" & "Small Sacrifices".  May she rest finally in peace.  She showed courage during her ordeal and class in death.

US…it just shows the class of Farrah’s family compared to mj’s family…now that is an embarrassment!!!  and when sharpton and jackson get a chance to show their face on tv…then you know it is going to be a circus!!!

Under:  Farrah did get her own day to be mourned by the people who really loved and cared about her sans media bulls**t.  I’m sure her family appreciated not having to deal with the circus that will come with Michael Jackson’s funeral.  May they both R.I.P.

Michael Jackson’s death inadvertently prevented Farrah’s funeral from becoming the media circus it would have been…which is a good thing. Nothing can prevent the media circus from Michael’s, starting with Michael’s father…horrible.

Farrah doesn’t even get her own thread on the day of her burial; there is a paragraph at the end about Michael Jackson.  How many threads does he have?  Four?  Five?  Leave him out of this very private one.

There was lots of media coverage during Farrah Fawsetts illness. Her death was announced in the media and condolences sent to her remaining loved ones. Who cares about who got more coverage? It does not amount to a hill of beans in  the long run.

I looked at photos of her funeral and thought understated, beautiful and dignified.

Her "Homecoming" was small, and private. I believe those in attendance were her family and closest friends. Persons with whom she shared her life.

It is the media who created the  media circus , not the Jackson family! It is disingenuous to say otherwise.

Farrah was no angel! … Why is everyone creating this fictional "Celestial Fairy Tale Character" ? … F.F. was a human being. There are double standards being practiced.

F.F. was married to actor Lee Majors and started having an affair with Ryan O’Neal who was very popular at the time. Farrah Fawsett kicked Majors to the curb and went with the man who could help career. Majors and Fawsett were estranged for years. Yeah, she was an angel alright! She was a so/so actress with lots of hair and teeth. She was a TV wanna be icon by virtue of her posters.

So Kay

L.C.  - wow you are harsh!  Lee Majors married Farrah as a beard - he lives in Ft. Lauderdale where he picks up young boys.  He encouraged the relationship with Ryan as he was incapable of being a real husband to her.  It was about love and fullfillment - not her career!  The fact that she allowed, even demanded the filming of her fight with cancer to bring awareness shows that she wasn’t all about her image.  Fighting cancer is a private battle that she shared to help others.
