LOL, sorry, I have to admit that, for Halloween, I’m guilty as charged. ;-) It really is fun — not just because of the costumes, but because of the faces they (at least, my cats :P) make. Honestly, the feline expressions are much better than any costume. :P And I have two dogs, and they’re funny in their costumes too. One has a great sense of humor, and looks awesome in his outfits, and the other acts like I’m punishing her. ;-)
As far as dressing them up "just because", I wouldn’t do that…holidays are bad enough for the poor things, lol. :P
I DON’T THINK SO!!!! DtN
Bubba the WonderCat wouldn’t even lower himself to look at the pictures.
My sister used to "ooh & ahhh" over pet costumes at Target at Halloween, & once, urged me to buy them for my posse. I said I would under one condition: she dress the cats.
That was the end of that idea.
Tempted by a cat costume at Target, I bought one for Monte, my British Shorthair. When my son attempted to dress him, he took off in a rage that lasted for hours, and he seemed to know that I was behind this indignity.
As children, my sister and I used to dress our cat, Midnight, in doll clothes and wheel her around in our doll buggy. Dear Midnight, may she rest in peace.
