British Woman's Face 'Butchered' 3 Times After Horrific Plastic Surgeries

Forty-three-year-old woman barely goes out now, says her husband left her and she now feels suicidal. Does this make you think twice about a face-lift?

Thinking about going under the knife to make yourself more beautiful? You may think twice about it after reading this.

Imagine undergoing plastic surgery to feel better about yourself, but instead you come out not only looking worse, but feeling "butchered."

That’s what happened to one British woman, 43-year-old Beverley Binks, who went in for an eye and jaw lift but ultimately came out feeling as though her face was left a "complete mess." Too much fat was removed from underneath one eye, she says, and the skin won’t properly connect with the eyeball. After this first horrific procedure, she underwent another to "fix" her face, but she came out in worse condition. Same goes for the third procedure. She was paid an undisclosed amount of money for the damage. Now, she rarely goes out and is suicidal.

"When I first saw people I knew after I’d had the surgery they’d ask me if I’d had a stroke because of the way I looked," Binks said. "I have been suicidal and my 25-year marriage nearly ended because of how depressed I have become."

The Daily Mail has the entire story, plus pictures of Binks’s botched operation.

Poor lady. Whenever I think about having plastic surgery i think about how the person weilding the knife is just a person who makes mistakes. seriously. i’ve always figured there is just to much risk in it. period. and i’ve said this a hundred times on this site. it also pisses me off that we’ve made it the norm for women to butcher themselves as they age in our society. so i’m not doing it. i’ve always been a trouble maker lol. and i plan on aging as a trouble maker and dying as one thank you very much.

Research, research, research before having anything done. Things like this can happen to anyone. Look at Priscilla Presley. You should always check into the credentials and see if there are any complaints against these surgeons.

Absolutely S G…research is your friend! I have seen many women that have had fabulous outcomes…they simply look refreshed and no one suspected that they "had some work" done.

Not all surgeons are created equal….take your time and find one that has the same esthetic values as you do.

SG: Back up———what about Priscilla Presley? I know she looks horrendous, but I thought she wanted it that way. Please give details. thanks.

The "Doctor" that screwed up Priscilla was a fake and fraud. He injected her with what turned out to be AUTOMOTIVE SILICONE. She’s lucky she’s still alive and there’s a good chance that she will have auto-immune complications in the future. I believe, but am not 100% positive, that the man is in jail and was fined for his "work", but it doesn’t change the fact that Priscilla’s face is permanently messed up.

Lisa, OMG I did not know that. How horrible for her. How can people do this to others and not have some kind of remorse?

thanks for the come back.

This is why I would never have any elective surgery done. It is not worth the risk.

I agree. Also I would feel like it isn’t me.  It’s not my face.  The MOST I would do, if it came down to it, would be a chemical peel to get refreshed.  There are lots of women in which maturity just adds to their eternal beauty.  Sally Field is one of them. Sophia Loren is another.  There is a certain respect and dignity and attractiveness that wisdom gives and when you stick needles in it or cut it with a scalpel, you take away from it. But then again, I may change my mind later in life….

Yes, aud b, that’s what I’m  hoping for…a few adjusts in my mind, so at least, I don’t realize I’m old.

peace and grace

Chrome Toe I agree with you.  everytime I give it a thought I think of these movie stars who look like frankinstein and say "Boy they had the money and look at them"  Joan Rivers, Priscilla Presley look hideous.  Look at how graceful Katherine Hepburn aged.

Keeping yourself fit and a little makeup and pride in your appearance goes a long way.

I am too scared to give someone that much control over how I am going to look…I feel for this lady & glad she was compensated.

Many times people have work on their eyes, and it goes snaflooey. A friend nearly went blind in one eye. I guess the eyes are particularly difficult.

Just deciding to get highlights was a big step for me.  Since I have no desire to look like Joan Rivers, Bruce Jenner, Wayne Newton, etc… no, I will not take that step.  A friend of mine has permanent eyeliner.  She said it would save time in the mornings.  How much time can it take to put on eyeliner?    Now she has something of a Cleopatra look.

It is a tattoo and just think as she ages that it will sink below her eyes making her look weird. Hope that she does not regret it.
