Bruce Springsteen's Alleged Mistress, Ann Kelly, Says Husband Fabricated Tryst

Bruce Springsteen’s alleged mistress claims her husband fabricated the affair to get the "upper hand" in their toxic divorce. Court papers filed by Arthur Kelly of New Jersey claim that his wife, Ann Kelly, committed adultery with The Boss.
Arthur "told me he filed those accusations of adultery because he had to ‘pull the reigns [sic] in on me’ because I filed [a restraining order] against him for alleged violence," the New Jersey housewife said in court papers, according to the New York Post. "He told me he was concerned I would have the ‘upper hand’ in court, so he did something he thought would to [sic] even the scales."
The New Jersey businessman filed for divorce from Ann, his wife of 17 years, claiming their marriage fell apart because she "committed adultery with one Bruce Springsteen, who resides in Rumson, New Jersey, and Colts Neck, New Jersey, at various times and places too numerous to mention." A source told Star magazine that Mrs. Kelly and Springsteen met at their local gym and that they’ve been causing raised eyebrows for years.
Mr. Kelly wants joint custody of the couple’s two daughters, 13 and 10, and wants his future ex-wife to pay child support. Court papers also say a restraining order was issued between the Kellys.
When Springsteen’s rumored affair first emerged in the press last week, Springsteen said his "commitment" to his wife, Patti Scialfa, is as strong as the day they married in 1991.

Yes, that probably is at least part of the reason. BUT…according to Mrs. Kelley, her husband did it simply to retaliate against her for filing a restraining order. That part does not ring true. Hubby surely has something to hang his hat on with that accusation, I’d think. There have been a couple of such accusations against Bruce recently. I tend to subscribe to the "where there is smoke, there is fire" philosphy. Hopefully, I am wrong in this case.
