Candice Bergen's 'Murphy' Advice to Carrie Prejean

Candice Bergen
This whole Carrie Prejean thing. And THEY paid for it!! I happen to know because I read US magazine! I am talking about her implants. Big effing deal. Well, they are, in fact, pretty good-sized, but are ANYONE’S authentic anymore? Except my own tinies. And of course I have done things that I prayed would never be revealed. I mean, please. And when "Murphy" was at its height, I had to watch myself. For instance driving. Someone cut me off during the early years of the show when I was very visible and I caught up with the car and gave the driver the finger and her mouth dropped open.

Now see Candice, this is exactly why I never sought "fame"… to have to give up the anonymity of being able to flip someone off and them not know who actually did it is just to high a price to pay! ;)
Seriously though, life is full of reprecussions for our behavior.  If we don’t thing through the possible consequences for any action we take of course we are going to have deal with those consequences at some point in time.  And since none of us always think everything through, I would bet each of us has had something we’ve had to deal with coming back to "haunt" us.  Now, as far as "but are ANYONE’S authentic anymore?" ..  mine are, but that may very well be because I’m just to d*mn big a chicken to change that fact! I don’t care whose are fake or whose are real, it’s not like it’s any of my business in the first place.

Ha!  I love it, Candice.  "Tinies" got me first.  I have never given the finger in all my 72 years, but I wonder if other drivers notice the blue air surrounding me inside my car when I let loose with "the" words when they offend me with their driving.  Funny thing is, I say my prayers while traveling (I found out that my son does the same).  Sometimes I interrupt myself with epithets.  Oops.

I, too, am in my early 70s and have never given the "bird," but some blue language has crossed my mind while driving. When I took a Sign Language class we did learn the sign for "A_ _ H_ _ _" and using that can make you feel so much better and the other driver has no idea what you said - I HOPE!!

I have given the finger when driving.  Not often and only when absolutely pushed to the limit.  I’ve found it’s very effective to give with a big smile.  (And if someone ever gives me the finger, I smile broadly and wave, like they were waving at me…totally throws them off.)

Somehow I can’t swear.  The words just don’t come out.  My husband laughs his head off when I get stressed and let out a big, "Oh heavens"

So,Barbara, you wave when someone flips you off? I stick my tongue out at the person - always gets a laugh!!

Candice love you…such a real person…you tell it like it is. Who really cares about Carrie’s implants or her very Christian Upbringing as she claims…pictures tell the story…her 15 minutes of fame is over and time to shut up…she is so frustrating but just can’t use that finger thing…necer have but I hear it releases stress… LOL. Cancice, keep your enjoyable updates rolling…love them…you are a scream !!!!
