Candy Spelling Seeks Reconciliation With Daughter Tori

It’s no secret that Candy and Tori Spelling don’t get along.

Tori, Candy’s daughter with the late producer Aaron Spelling, has frequently spoken out against her mother, who she says withheld her inheritance and generally treats her like dirt. Candy, however, claims otherwise.

In fact, she insists on "20/20" tonight that she hasn’t the foggiest idea why her relationship with her daughter went south.

She does know, however, that it hurts her and that she’d like to be closer with her daughter and two grandchildren. Says Mrs. Spelling, "I would love to be close to my grandchildren … I’m the only grandparent that’s living. So, I’m it. And — I’ve never even met Stella." We hate to see families in peril, so hopefully the interview will open the communication channels.

On a related note, Candy recently put her mammoth mansion on the market for $150 million. Any takers?

Well I thought they did this after the birth of Tori’s first child. Sheesh, more wild weirdness blazes out of the Hollywierd scene!

E .

Tori - do it.  Do some soul searching and own your part in the break with your mother.  Open your heart and make amends with her - if not for her, if not for you, for your relationship with your children.  There are ways around every mountain.

As the above poster said I remember that this was reportedly supposed to happen years ago and find it odd that it didn’t.

So aftera ll this time she now decides she wants to be grandma??….is she dying?

This woman has been wretched to Tori for years and now she plays the innocent victim.

She has always been against Tori. She has tried to control her. She has tried to hold money over Tori’s head. The mother is greedy and manipulating. She tried to control the relation between father and daughter. Her husband was sadly influenced by is manipulating wife. I think she was jealous of Tori. Mommy has a selective memory. I really believe if she had an opportunity she would try and steal her grandchildrens affection away from their parents.

Yes. And I’m sure Tori and Candy are thinking about us this morning, too.

I don’t think mama spelling is innocent! She was not too sincere! I watch the interview. All I will say that it takes two to tango!

Another proof that the more money and stuff people have, the more selfish and irrelevant they become.  They know it.  That’s why they keep airing their dirty laundry in public.  Anything to get attention, even from those who applaud their emotional and spiritual misery!

Life must have been fun for poor Aaron Spelling.  He probably wished he had stayed married to Caroline Jones (aka Morticia Addams).  Can you imagine a road trip with those two women??? (shutters)
