Carrie Prejean Miss California Controversy | 05/05/2009 12:40 pm

Carrie Prejean Photos May Cost Her Miss California Title (Video)

Will the topless photographs of Carrie Prejean that surfaced the Internet cost Miss California her title?

According to MSNBC, Prejean’s contract prohibits her from being "photographed in a state of partial or total nudity."

While Prejean insists the photographs were taken when she was 17 and were leaked to the Hollywood gossip website TheDirty.com just recently, the tabloid frenzy surrounding this can’t possibly be good for the beauty queen.

Since saying she opposes same-sex marriage at the Miss USA competition, Prejean has been the object of harsh criticism — but also garnered praise from conservative groups. Prejean also launched last week a television ad campaign with the National Organization for Marriage that showed her now-infamous response at the Miss USA competition.

Her answer, many speculate, cost her the Miss USA title. Will this latest controversy also hurt her?

Ahhhh Melinda…how quaint…glad to hear you think so much of yourself…good for you!

Kerry was thrown under the bus by some of his own "brother in arms" wasn’t he? But since when does this become about Bush again?

I guess that you have to be reminded that it was a Dem…Dodd that included all of the bonuses….The UAW had some over the top salaries etc. that ran their companies into the ground…but they are good for votes…now aren’t they? Yep…

Ahhhhhhhh politics is a nasty business. Term limits, term limits , term limits. Interesting how Obama, Axelrod, Rahm are all millionaires….Politics creates an individual that never need return to the private sector. Look at that old poop Spector, doing whatever it takes to not have to retire to the private sector. TERM LIMITS.

Suffice it to say that your "pedigree" is useless to anyone but you…but spoken like a true liberal elitist…Ann Richards…style and elegance? OH….that’s a stretch…

Thanks for the comic relief here.. Mel.

I have seen the picture, and while you and I might not think it is a big deal, if the Miss USA organizers think it’s a big deal, then so be it. No matter how hypocritical it might seem…

Kelly,

Oh and I suppose the "over the back" photos were an example of her striking a "Christian pose"? I can only imagine what you would have said if this young "pop tart" had chosen to support gay rights. <BG

Thank you Lisa.  If one doesn’t "REALLY" want the truth, one should "NEVER" ask for it!

A persons opinion does not make it the truth my dear.

HA BIBI
When she’s asked about gay marriage and replies that she believes it should be between a man and a woman only, She told the truth! That flamer Perez, had no business as a judge for a woman’s beauty pageant in the first place. He got spanked with her answer, period! Even many in the gay community are frowning upon him for his stupid behavior. A beauty pageant is not a place to be asking contestants their personal views on politically heated issues, that too is the truth!

I believe the question wasn’t one wantering her opinion. BTW Maine now has passed gay marriage:)

HA BIBI
You can call it what you want, it will never be recognized as marriage in the eyes of God to whom it matters, Nor me, so what’s your point! Marriage is still only between a man and a woman. Gay people are just play acting, (Makes one think they want to be straight so bad, that they want all the things straight folk’s have)  it doesnt make it real in the eyes of God, just because you use the word……Doesn’t change one thing! The so called laws of this land that are passed by weasel judges are precidents, not laws at all and God is still going to prove you wrong one day, so relish all you want now but in the end God will most definately have the last laugh and those of us who believe God will also be sayin………Told ya so!

Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?

-Proverbs 20:6

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

-Romans 10:3

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

-Proverbs 21:2

Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

-Isaiah 65:5

If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.

-Job 9:20

Lemon, all you do is print out scripture BUT you have Zero understanding of what any of it means! Your whole life is a testament of ignorance and want.

projecting your feelings on others again, ha bibi? i am very sorry you feel your whole life is a testament to ignorance and want… that is really too bad, i feel sympathy for you.

perhaps you should try to read the bible and actually try to understand the words? here’s a couple that i know will be very helpful to you:

Our love must not be a thing of words and fine talk. It must be a thing of action and sincerity

-1 John 3:18

A fool think he needs no advice, but a wise man listens to others.
Proverbs 12:15

And the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.
-2 Timothy 2:24

But if the unbeliever leaves, let him do so. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.
-1 Corinthians 7:15

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you
-Matthew 7:12

*smile* god bless you, ha bibi! i will pray for you to find god and the true meaning of jesus.
