Carrie Prejean Miss California Controversy | 05/05/2009 12:40 pm

Will the topless photographs of Carrie Prejean that surfaced the Internet cost Miss California her title?

According to MSNBC, Prejean’s contract prohibits her from being "photographed in a state of partial or total nudity."

While Prejean insists the photographs were taken when she was 17 and were leaked to the Hollywood gossip website TheDirty.com just recently, the tabloid frenzy surrounding this can’t possibly be good for the beauty queen.

Since saying she opposes same-sex marriage at the Miss USA competition, Prejean has been the object of harsh criticism — but also garnered praise from conservative groups. Prejean also launched last week a television ad campaign with the National Organization for Marriage that showed her now-infamous response at the Miss USA competition.

Her answer, many speculate, cost her the Miss USA title. Will this latest controversy also hurt her?

Another "bimbo" that wants to have her cake and doesn’t want to "suffer" the consequences…oh, boo, hoo!

She didn’t break her contract.  She lied to enter into that contract and gain the benefits of it. She made a fraudulent misrepresentation, with the intent to deceive and the knowledge it was false.

Concur, who cares about the tame photos of an ambitious 17 yr old.

But as an adult, she lied to gain benefit for herself, and because her lie was believed, she deprived someone more deserving of an opportunity to participate.

Does anyone know why the pictures were taken??  She was considering modeling.  Every model builds a personal portfolio.  Pictures that I not meant for public viewing.  Were these obtained through a back-room deal between an unscrupulous photographer and someone with lots of money..  I wonder how many beauty contestants have similar portfolios.

I think she should denounce the California pageant organizers and give them the title back.  Maybe she could do it at a personal fundraiser.  I would support her.

Miss Prejean needs to moveon and quit playing the victim.   The contest is over.  We heard your views on gay marriage and big whoop.

"P.S. when you look like that girl…"looser" isn’t a word that she has to endure for long…nope…"  By Kelly In Texas on 05/06/2009 12:07 amFinally I agree with you Kelly, mainly because she is a loser not a looser.

I wonder what constitutes nudity.  In California were a "G" string is considered formal attire this is all seems pretty hypocritical.  You could make 3 string bikinis out of the material in those panties.

Every participant in these pageants is probably hoping for a modeling career (what else nuclear scientist).  I’m sure the majority of them have some kind of photo portfolio.  It just takes a smear campaign backed by big money to make a back-room deal with some unscrupulous photographer.

One web sight I visited has some comparison shots of Carrie from 2004 (participating in a food drive).  She sure looks like the girl in these photos.

If she was a minor in those pictures what are the legal ramifications for those who are posting them…. that is provided they are considered nude photos????

Hurray for this young LADY !!!! Its about time someone spoke up for all of us. She only answered a question that was asked to her. That judge shouldn’t have asked her if he couldn’t handle her opinion. This is supposed to be a FREE country w/ fFree speach…right? Why do these GAY people insist on going public with their sexual prefrences? I like to my love to a special man in my life but I don’t broadcast it to the world!!!!!! Leave this young LADY alone, she did NOTHING WRONG !!!!

"I’m appalled that a professional photographer would"… expose me as a liar, expose my purpose in life right now as friovolous and self seeking, expose the current agenda of faith as duplicitous,

I’m appalled that as a christian when I take my clothes off in public to promote my career and get caught lying through my silicone chest that Americans do not support me as a possible representative of them in the Miss Universe pageant. It is utterly disgraceful and you will go to hell, while I ride my train of notoriety into the spiritual realms of fame and fortune and possibly become Donald Trump’s next wife, because we are not gay and we can do that.

I will read from my prepared statements because I didn’t write them and so can not remember how I am supposed to spin this to my advantage.

God Bless America, my pastor and me.

AAAARGGGHHH!  My brain finally exploded and I do not care about Ms. Prejean her boobs or whether she wants to marry a woman.  In the words of a Kid Rock song, "as we sit free and well another soldier has to yell, "tell my wife and children I love them" in his last breath ~ Amen c’mon now Amen.  Shees! if she was playing Monopoly and drew the Second Prize in a Beauty Contest card she’d just collect $10 and go on.  Move on America!  Move on Me.

I think those women in desert camo deserve more press than what’s her face.  Don’t you?
