Christin Engelberth is one lucky — and talented — twelve-year-old.
The Texas sixth grader won the Google Doodle competition with this drawing, entitled "A New Beginning." Of the doodle, Engelberth remarked, "At first, I thought about animal conservation. Then I thought it should include the world. So it’s coming up with solutions for making a better earth." We like a girl who thinks globally.
Google will give Engelberth $15,000 for college, a new laptop and will send $25,000 to her school for new technology.
