Two former reality-show women who found their 15 minutes of fame while searching for love and happiness in front of the cameras have found a way to extend those 15 minutes — by joining the fun ABC reality show "Dancing With the Stars."
The heartbroken former fiancée of "The Bachelor" and former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Melissa Rycroft, 25, will fill in for "Access Hollywood" host Nancy O’Dell on the popular performance show. Days after "The Bachelor" star Jason Mesnick dumped Rycroft on live television for runner-up Molly Malaney, Rycroft released a statement saying she has sworn off reality television, but she must have changed her mind.
The other reality-show girl is "Girls Next Door" star Holly Madison. Madison is reportedly replacing singer Jewel, who pulled herself from the show after hurting her knee. Madison recently left "Girls," which followed her life as one of Hugh Hefner’s three girlfriends living in the "Playboy" mansion.
The two-hour season premiere airs tonight at 8 PM on ABC. Season eight introduces us to 11 other new stars, including Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Denise Richards, female rapper Lil’ Kim and Steve Wozniak, Apple cofounder and philanthropist.
