The former heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson was hit with the most terrible tragedy. His four-year-old daughter Exodus died Tuesday at 11:45 AM after accidentally tangling herself in a cord hanging from a treadmill at the family’s Arizona home.
Authorities believe Exodus Tyson was playing near the treadmill when she got caught in the cords. Her seven-year-old brother discovered her Monday morning and her mother attempted CPR before help arrived."There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus," the family said in a statement. "We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal."
The 42-year-old Tyson has asked the public for privacy as he and his family mourn their loss.
"The Tyson family would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks for all your prayers and support, and we ask that we be allowed our privacy at this difficult time," the boxer said in a statement.
