Happy Birthday, Candice Bergen!
Join wOw in wishing our gorgeous Candy Bergen the best.

You may know her as reporter Murphy Brown, or tough litigator Shirley Schmidt on "Boston Legal," or perhaps as Carrie Bradshaw’s straightforward editor at Vogue on "Sex and the City." But to us here at wowOwow, she’s a wOw of a woman, our Candice Bergen … and Saturday is her birthday! We’re wishing her the best of birthday wishes, and would love for you to please join us in celebrating her special day by leaving your birthday note for her below.

Heard that you aren’t getting older, only better. Live that thought to the fullest and enjoy. Happy Birthday.
Many happy returns, Candice Bergen. I’ve been a fan of all your work with "Murphy Brown" closest to my heart. For in that series, more than any other, you showed the world that women were powerful and human creatures.
H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y !
Happy Birthday! Hope your day is very special, because you are very special to us, even those who haven’t met you :)
Dear Ms. Bergen,
So beautiful and such an incredible career including as a photographer and mother and wife to two great men.
Speaking of romantic. Today I had lunch with one of Napa’s top winemakers, Scott Harvey and his beautiful wife, Jana. Their’s is a real love story, too. We went to a place at Lover’s Point on Monterey Bay with all the squid fishermen out in the water today, and had great sand dabs. They brought me three bottles of their "One Last Kiss" that I love [esp the white]. The bottle design with kisses makes everyone smile when they see it.
Instead of spiritual bouquets as we used to send in school, here’s a spiritual bottle of "One Last Kiss" for you.
All best wishes for many more happy birthdays, roles and kisses, too.

As Shirley and Murphy would probably say, "Oh, cut it out, guys, wish me Happy Birthday if you must, but for god’s sake let’s not make an opera out of it!" Psssst–––do you hear me singing?
P.S. Listen carefully tonight for pebbles being thrown at your windows by the shade of Steve McQueen who just wants to thank you for making a little magic with him in that film that still, after all these years, still has legs.
Candy, here’s to many more splendid years. Cheers,
Jim
Dear Candice Bergen:
A very Happy Birthday to you! You of the superb comic timing and the prettiest scowl in the Universe. : ) But, please! That picture of you in Vanity Fair as a teenager?! You brought me back in time when I, in NJ, would see these pictures of blonde-haired girls in TEEN magazine and think: "Where do they *make* these people?" Not knowing how to cope, I dyed my already dark hair darker and started drinking black coffee! : ) Me in a bandana? I looked like I would charge at somebody with a mop, you looked the same way you look today, like some rare doe-eyed species of femininity that someone at the Luau *would* hand a drink with (wow : ) a gardenia in it. Enjoy! We all love you.
Candy, dahling, you’re sweet, smart and sassy. May you enjoy many birthdays to come, my dear.
Happy Happy Birthday!! And thank you for helping me keep my sanity back in ‘96 (playing Murphy) when my maternal grandparents died within 6 months of each other. If only all ten seasons would be released on dvd’s - my vhs-tapes are almost worn out by now…
Grattis på födelsedagen från Malmö och Skåne (Sweden)!!!
Wishing that this first day of your brand new year and all the rest to follow will be filled with peace, love, light and true friends.
Happy Birthday Candice!
