Susan LaPierre
I have read this book at least 25 times. The words read like an assembly of instruments playing a beautiful song. Scout stood on Boo’s front porch; she put herself in his place to understand what he felt. The book compares poor and simple people to the mockingbird; feared, abused and killed for singing their song. It gives a statement about social and racial equality.
