Kryssi,

How come the clock here, is so different from my computer clock?

Well… I have to be obnoxious for you, then - ok?  I live alone - talk is good for me.

All I know is the time here on my WOW posts is an hour ahead of me. Eastern, and I’m Central. Not too bad - I’ve posted on forums where my posts were like 9 hours into the future, somehow! lol

If you love talk so much, hit me up on some instant messengers! AIM: afridyte13, Yahoo: angrytears2000 (SUCH an emo-sounding name but I swear it’s not what it sounds like). I prefer Yahoo messenger because AIM is notoriously bloated with ad/spyware. I’d give you my email but You-Know-Who is probably still lurking around and he was stalking/harassing me AND my girlfriend via MySpace at one point. So I’m afraid to post any potentially abusable information on this site now - ugh!

Kryssi K,

I didn’t realize the hour… I gotta go.  Sorry.  I have not set up my messenger account as yet, so I will - then, I will be in touch.  Ok?  G’nite.  morning

Little Fefe ~ There is nothing wrong with being too idealistic. It is just your dreams sparkling.

Dang, it looks like I missed out on a piece of the action — yet again (dern the insane amounts of post-secondary school work eating into all my play time).

Ah well, I loved reading what everyone had to say - guess I am stating the obvious on that one. However, I am honestly so moved by your talent (AND erudition) Miz Wagner and the ability it has to facilitate so many thought provoking discussions. I love how you paint with words <3

Jane, I wanted to say a word directly to you about wOw and the disillusionment some of us have felt lately. There have been many comments and complaints on other threads, and there is no reason to repeat them here except to say that the quality that we had grown to appreciate has diminished within the past six months, and now a big percentage of the topics have been lifted from other news and tabloid media. I started posting on wOw because I loved the originality and the thought-provoking subject matter. When you posted your first Care-toon I was in heaven! You gave us intriguing art to think about, to discuss, and to enjoy. Later on, when so many of the threads went negative, I started losing my enthusiasm for the wOw website and I found others among the earlier posters who felt similarly. Now, I rarely comment because I know what’s coming next - a barrage of verbal abuse and language I would never tolerate in my 3D life. I do check in regularly, optimistic that I’ll find a great topic. I am so glad that you’re creating Care-toons again, Jane. wOw owes you a major award of thanks for bringing some of us back. And my personal thanks for your responses to our posts. It means so much to know that you are reading what we write.

Serena .

I second Mo’s sentiment.  Very well said, BTW, Mo.  Kudos.

Miss Jane, this does explain things very well.  But as I said before, as long as you and Lily are around, I’ll be around.

Dear Mo and Serena. I don’t know exactly what to do to help. Maybe controversy is not so bad if

people like you all can argue your POVS.  Everyone here wants WoW to be succesful and they all work so hard.

Jane, we haven’t a problem with arguing our POVs.  It was the viciousness that got to us.  For a while I was trashed daily for being gay by various right-wing nuts as though my SO demostrated that nothing I had to say is of value.  And the GOP-right wing orientation of so many things (Why is President Obama such a failure as a President — on his second day, or whatever it was) sorts of topics.  If I lived a thousand years, I still wouldn’t have time.  When you show up, sure, I’ll be here……

I personally didn’t mind the anti-gay trashing until it spilled over onto my GIRLFRIEND’S MYSPACE. Then again, I suppose that’s what I get for giving out the link to my profile. When will I ever learn to stop entrusting people with the benefit of my [uniquely-Sagittarius, delusionally-optimistic] Doubt? Ah well.

I will never, NEVER  stray from the Sandbox, though…

Kryssi, I really didn’t know about the problem with anti-gayness on the site. We can’t help what people say when they write in. I knew some  people were disgruntled, but I didn’t know the criticism had to do with gay trashing. We have to put up with some negativity and controversity

can be interesting. I didn’t realize the magnitude of the problem and I’m sorry.
