Little Fefe ~ There is nothing wrong with being too idealistic. It is just your dreams sparkling.

It truly makes me wish EVERY day was Earth Day! I’d even go for an official push for EARTH MONTH <3 (I just googled that and this is what I got http://www.vitalitymagazine.com/earthwatch_april_is_earth_month verrry interesting AND thee coolest eco-social friendly laptops ever: http://www.inhabitat.com/2006/12/20/fuseprojects-award-winning-xo-laptop/)

 >>HAPPY EARTH DAY EVERYONE ♥ Give the planet a hug and breath of fresh air. Live green.

Thank YOU for the inspiration. These Care-toons are most profound I almost wish they could be compiled into a calendar to remind us each and every day about the size of our ecological footprint! I’m enjoying how intricate and multi-layered these collages are – I find myself spotting something new every time I look at them…. I’m feeling so inspired at the moment – I just finished re-reading A Wrinkle In Time AND Naomi Klein’s Shock Doctrine. However, there are times I do find inspiration overwhelming especially when I am unsure about where to start fixing all the struggles, injustices, and inequalities on this planet; my mind races a lot and sometimes I find it difficult to keep up with it!

Very wonderful. Today, walking around the Monterey Bay everything is in glorious bloom…and all the new sea lion pups are with their mothers on ‘pocket’ beaches…inlets where the water is smooth. There are really adorable. I never saw and heard them up close before…but their call is very different from  the bark you hear from the grown sea lions. They sound like a young boy calling ‘Maaaw!"  So cute.

Suzanne, I’m on the coast of NC so I don’t get to see such wonderful things as you, as with the new sea lion pups. Best I get to see such things are on the tele. Your description of the way the pups sound is so wonderful… like a young boy calling "Maaaw!" Please repeat this posting of yours on Mother’s Day. I have two sons and they’re grown and I would love to hear them call out to me again, "Maaaw!" Now, if you hear any of them saying, "Mama"…. please post immediately… they’ll be Southern Sea Lion Pups and we’ll all want to know about them even more!

Well, Jane, thank you. That is high praise indeed for me. I feel very good if I made YOU laugh. You’ve been doing that for all of us with all your work all these years. Have a great rest of the weekend.

To the delightful and caring Jane…..Happy Earth Day and thank you for caring. The cartoons are just wonderful and I am "Green with envy at your talent. The greening of the earth is so necessary for our own survival.  Throw your potato peels on the earth today.  It might be little but every little thing counts.

Thanks for reminding me…I feel like I am dutifully Green. We even had Green pioneer, Ed Begley come over to the house and consult with us. But he never said anything about throwing potato peels on the earth. I learn something new about how to be

Green everyday.
