Joan Ganz Cooney Hasn't Read Middlemarch

Joan Ganz Cooney
Oh, so many from the bedside and the bookcases in my bedroom. The most guilt producing, I’m embarrassed to say, is Middlemarch by George Eliot.

Mine right now is more a re-read than a read…I just finished Not Becoming My Mother by Ruth Reichl (A fantastic read!!) which I already want to reread.  But the one I haven’t read since high school is the Complete Sherlock Holmes which I really want to get to this summer!

Middlemarch is extraordinary—Eliot wrote one of the singularly phenomenal books in English lit. Try it—you’ll really become immersed immediately.
