Joy Behar on Elizabeth Edwards, Miss California | 05/06/2009 10:00 am

Joy Behar on Sarah Palin, Miss California and Elizabeth Edwards (Video)

Tell-it-like-it-is ‘View’ host dishes to Larry King on gay marriage, Miss California’s breast implants, her former feud with Donald Trump and more.
By The Staff at wowOwow.com

"The View" co-host Joy Behar has a recommendation for Sarah Palin: Run for president again so she can watch you crash and burn.

Appearing on CNN’s "Larry King Live,"
Behar was anything but shy in sharing her feelings about the Alaska governor’s potential 2012 presidential run:

I would love to see that, because whoever is running against her, that’s going to be, you know, a slam dunk, in my opinion. Because every time the woman is in an interview, she shows herself to be very, very shallow — you know, as they say, stunningly superficial on another network. So, let her run. I hope she runs.

Ouch! Well Behar also weighed in on the Miss California controversy ("She’s winning the race, believe me, and with new boobs"), Donald Trump and how he was "all over her" on the set and the plight of Elizabeth Edwards.

Regarding Edwards, she wondered why Edwards, whose husband John cheated on her, and other political wives stand by their men:

Let’s tell it like it is. He’s a dog and people do not like him. I think his political career is over, and it’s disappointing because he was a decent Democrat. He had his heart in the right place. He was a good liberal, and now he’s out of the picture. Although it didn’t stop Newt Gingrich, who also told his wife he wanted a divorce when she was in the hospital. So, you know, bad taste, I guess, doesn’t hurt all of their careers. So we never know what’s going to happen to him. I just feel bad for her."

Well, that is Ms. Behar’s opinion, and she’s welcome to it. Personally, I think Sarah, having experienced the national scene firsthand — and the viciousness of the press — will be more prepared a second time around.

It will be a slam dunk!  When every she runs, that is if it will be in 2012 or later. I should know I have seen better republican than her.

Ah, yes: “the Miss California controversy”.
I myself remain bewildered about all this … but it seems that many people are being inspired by Miss California.  Apparently there is talk of starting a National Organization for Breasts to "protect traditional breasts."  Seems appropriate: breasts are near to the heart of many people, so going to Washington to help save them is only, well, natural.
While I myself am offended by a non-traditional, unnatural relationship to breasts, I still defend Carrie Prejean’s choice to choose the unconventional path if that is truly what she needs to be happy.
… I just wish she would defend the freedom of other women to make their own choices - even if it means selecting some non-traditional path — just as she has done.

The thing I can’t comprehend is this: it would be understandable if she devoted herself to a campaign regarding women’s low self-esteem body issues … but just how the relationships gay couples have affects her is as clear as mud.

"protect traditional breasts." LOL! What would they call it, “The Defense of Second Base Act”?

Try Googling “Bulgarian Airbags”.

Anyone interested in seeing a list of people I am not allowed to marry? It includes everyone in the world but my wife.

Maybe not legally Walter, but you could join one of those "fringe" religions that allows you take several wives!LOL

I don’t know your wife, but I am betting that she ain’t gonna go for that!!

Walter would have to be careful not to be on the Homeland Defense Hit List… he’s too smart for that.

Plus, if his wife is anything like him (strong and no-nonsense, I mean this as a compliment Walter!), it would be a pain to be a junior sister-wife in that house!
