Hillary and Bill Clinton may soon find themselves on HBO. And they could be played by appropriately A-list actors.

Though nothing has been set in stone, HBO executives are currently considering producing a project called "The Special Relationship," which revolves around the Clintons and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. If the project moves forward, it will star Dennis Quaid and Julianne Moore as the former first couple. British actor Michael Sheen will portray Mr. Blair, Entertainment Weekly reports.

We don’t know why HBO officials would even consider not doing this project — it sounds like entertainment gold! Plus, we love any excuse to see Quaid.

Wow, Hollywood must be out of interesting ideas.

Alright, so who’s going to play Monica?

I’m sure this film will further to destroy Monica Lewinsky, she will most certainly be the "villian", the root of all "evil".

Pathetic.

Catherine -  I have to agree with you.  After I did a quick laugh about the "special relationship" between Clinton and Tony Blair, I did think of Monica and what on Earth are they going to say about her now.  Yes, she will be a villain.  It is still too soon for many Americans to accept the fact that former President Clinton was a sexual predator, especially in the workplace.  Monica was a stupid, silly young woman who had more than a crush on the President;  she probably thought she was in love with him.  I pity her.

It is only recently that a screenplay or comedy skit will include a line or two about the indiscriminate sexual activities and adulteries of the Kennedy men.  It is no longer shocking to say it aloud.  We are not there yet as to President Clinton…. but, in time, we will be.

As for Julianne Moore playing Hillary?  Julianne is a superb actress so she could probably do a credible job.  Dennis Quaid as Bill Clinton?  Well, Mr. Quaid did a fine job when he portrayed Jerry Lee Lewis…. so he probably could be Clinton though initially one would say, "no way!".

I really love Julianne Moore and Dennis Quaid isn’t bad either. It must be hard to play people who are still around and very much in the spotlight.

I heard something about this on the radio today The commentator said that Monica Lewinsky is now 35, and has her Master’s Degree. She has had constant difficulties in her life because of her past, which are slowly settling down. This film would probably reawaken an interest in her past, causing the problems she has tried to overcome to start up anew.
