Amanda……There must be a balance maintained in nature. This is often done by “thinning the herd”! Like it or not that is how every living thing survives or not. Wildlife flourishes when predators are not allowed to overtake and create an imbalance. The excessive wolf population has to be kept in check and since it is very difficult to hunt in these areas on foot it is best done by helicopter. There are many other wildlife creatures that survive because of this humane way of “thinning the herd”! Judge not……..etc.
