Weeks after her breakup with girlfriend Samantha Ronson, actress Lindsay Lohan says she’s ready to look for love. In a video spoof of an eHarmony commercial, the recently dumped actress declares herself single and spells out what she wants.

"Hi, my name is Lindsay and I’m searching for love," says Lohan in her introduction video posted on FunnyorDie.com (and below). "I’m recently single … I think. And, I’m looking for someone I can spend the rest of my life with — or at least the rest of my probation with."

Lohan, who has endured her fair share of controversy, pokes fun at her reputation and also credits herself for keeping all the gossip websites in business.

As for her dream companion, Lohan says:

The perfect mate loves long walks on the beach, car chases on the PCH, antiquing and passing out in Cadillac Escalades. So, if you think you can handle a redhead with a little bit of sass, and by that I mean a redhead that’s crazy … I mean don’t pretend like you don’t know me, we’ve all read about it! We’ll crash a few parties, a car or two, but at the end of the day, I promise you, I never lose my Google hits — just my underwear.

We love a girl with a sense of humor.

Give yourself time to heal! … Why the rush? … Take time to focus on your psychological, emotional, spiritual and nutritional needs! … Rushing into a relationship instead of dealing with the pain is not the answer!

Use this as an opportunity to GROWUP!!!! … Exercise some self respect and dignity! … What are you trying to prove and to whom are you trying to prove it?

The biggest shame of all with regard to Lindsay Lohan is that she is a girl who is blessed with a great deal of talent, but has no one to help her move on in a positive way. I do appreciate the humor implied in her video. But the life she’s leading and has lead is going no where. If only Natasha Richardson HAD been her mother! Yes, she’d be in mourning now, but she would have gotten a real foundation, instead of a set of parents bent on living their lives through the success of their children.

She needs to include an inflated, dysfunctional ego, living off other people’s generosity since she has squandered away most of her own income, and the person of interest must be able to duck flying objects. Its’ pathetic.

I’m all for self deprecating humor, but when you have just lived through (and to some extent are still in the midst of) so many deep, disturbing and life threatening issues, humor of this nature is in poor taste. She’s such a beautiful young woman. It’s so sad to see what she is allowing herself to grow into.

But the upside is she is young. God willing she will live to be an old woman and will look back on this chapter of her life and smile, realizing she survived the worst of it.

And on top of it all, I just did a search for "Bo" and then for "Water Dog" and came up with nothing that related to the presentation of the First Pet’s introduction to the media.

Making light of your own really bad behavior, even in a humorous way, does not wipe the slate clean or make you appear trustworthy. LL needs to show the world that she is capable of positive change through hard work, accountability, altruism and normal behavior.
