roles of film”…..is that a pun. Do you mean her missing film roles in which she should have been cast? Or are there rolls of film featuring Marilyn which have gone missing?

I am a fan of Marilyn Monroe. I’ve researched some facts that have not been mentioned here. Marilyn Monroe was an articulate and intelligent woman. She wanted roles that would reflect her intelligence however hollywood was not interested. They wanted the so-called sexy siren Marilyn. She actually believed that once she had a certain amount of prestige/power she would be able to demand better scripts and a variety of scripts that would reflect her intellect. Off the screen she was a normal everyday person trying to live a fulfilling life. She was hardly recognizable without the makeup and sexy outfits. She spent a large part of her time reading. She was frustrated career wise. Unfortunately, in her private life there were the usual bloodsuckers who did not have her best interest at heart. She was largely a cashcow for many. Many believe that John and Bobby Kennedy had a hand in her death and that she was murdered. It was a contracted murder. Sadly, she put her life in the hands of others. She fell victim to the isms . Marilyn was a good actress. If one took the time to study her work and all the nuances they would see another Marilyn other than hollywoods carcature.
