LIZ SMITH FLASH! Diana Ross Backup Mom for Michael Jackson's Kids?

Liz Smith
Now comes word that Michael Jackson’s will stipulates that if his mother, Katherine Jackson is "unable or unwilling" to fulfill her role as guardian to Michael’s children – page Miss Diana Ross!

Before you start giggling, please remember that Diana has raised five – count ‘em – five beautiful children who have never been in a spit of trouble. Diva she may be to coworkers, but she has been an exemplary mother. This is an intelligent choice, actually.

I am sure if it comes to Diana Ross having to take care of these 3 kids, she will have help, Nannies, I am sure she didnt raise all 5 of those kids without help of Nannies.  I am not knocking having Nannies…So I am sure it wont be a 65 year old Ross running around after these kids, she will be there for the financial and stablility.

This is interesting, but Diana’s kids have never been in trouble.  Several of her daughters are very accomplished.  I think that the Mrs. Jackson has always been very kind.  Anybody but Joe Jackson!

Kristy,

What kind of mother is it who doesn’t protect her children from physical abuse?

We don’t know, Andrea. Katherine Jackson may have tried to protect her children and she may have been abused herself.  We’ll never know the exact details of what happened in that house.

No, Kristy. I’m not buying that. She’s an enabler.

Furthermore, didn’t someone mention that some of Katherine’s adult children live with her now? We don’t know if they learned their father’s behavior.

I didn’t know that some of her adult children are living with her.  Hopefully, before any permanent custody takes place, CPS will completely investigate the living situation.

Kristy,

I stand to be corrected on this, but I don’t believe that CPS will do an investigation on this. I think the Judge will decide and if there is any dissent then he will have a court-appointed investigator do a search and report back to the court. [Most courts assign a psychologist to interview the proposed guardians and make an assessment for the court. ]

Because I don’t want to be accused of repeating myself, take a look at my post above.  I think Diana Ross would make a very good guardian.

That was an eye-opening story.  Thanks!!!

How can anyone snicker at Diana Ross, after "Shoeless Joe" Jackson has been whoring the family out for gold for decades?

Oh James…the offspring of THIS Joe Jackson have kept him in the finest Gucci shoes since they were barely teens.

The ‘real’ Shoeless Joe is a baseball icon (and sparing any historical oversights) a non-abusive parent.

I am still waiting Joe Jackson’s ticket sale for the Funeral.  Did ya know the ‘family’ is considering using the LA Colusium?  Surely…with a ‘gate’ and all…

I know, Mary. Shoeless Joe was involved in the 1919 "Black Sox" scandal and the throwing of the World Series.

Appropriate to use the Los Angeles Coliseum, Quite-Contrary, as this whole thing is a Trojan Horse. Now, go look up at that sports riddle ("What is James referring to, "Trojan"…."Coliseum"…what is the connection there?")

Shoeless Joe just didn’t have a good lawyer.  With the proper ‘mouthpiece’ Joe, no doubt, would have made it to Cooperstown; and his heirs would thier own logo on everything sports related…instead of that Nike Swoosh.

Well the Trojan Horse could certainly be the media driven frenzy of all things MJ right now…whilst California’s finances are in worse shape than Jackson’s were.  Kinda Moonwalking while Racida burns?

Cooperstown, N.Y.- that’s a great place to visit! The Trojans play in the Coliseum. That was the trivia answer.

Did you say the media have been talking about Michael Jackson? Really? I haven’t heard a peep. (just kidding)

James—One of my sisters lives in Cooperstown.  It is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there.
