Memo to the Michael Jackson family. When you allow old Joe to go about talking of how he is looking at Paris for a show business career and how he is going to raise Michael’s children – isn’t this just a setup for Debbie Rowe to seize custody from Katherine Jackson?! Joe Jackson gave an interview to ABC News that is chilling in its implications – aside from his assertions that Michael was the victim of "foul play."

The one thing Michael always made clear was how his father ruined his life. I think he must be rolling in his grave wherever that may be to think that Joe Jackson will have any say-so over these three grandchildren. Let alone protecting these poor innocents from a future in show business!

Oh, my heavenly days.  ‘Get off the gravy train’?  ‘Pegged her for being one of the yellow tabloid media.’?  That’s the ticket. O E, find a thread which interests you. Headlines are just such a nifty way for people to know what will be contained in the much longer, detailed column.    Whenever you see ‘Joe Jackson’, that’s your cue to avoid that column.

Like you, O E I’m not a fan of Joe Jackson, not this one anyway.  I will just say that I thought he was disrespectful for wearing his hat at his son’s funeral.  On the other hand, I am a huge fan of Liz Smith’s, so I’ll always check her columns to see her take on things.  And then I can choose whether I agree or not.

Joe Jackson has shown what kind of man, I use that term loosely, he is. He’s an opportinistic, controlling, child abuser. Michael wasn’t the only one who spoke of his father’s beatings. Before his son was even buried he walked the red carpet & did a mini-infomercial for his new record company. What kind of father does that? I saw his chat with Martin Bashir & he looked ridiculous. He even said that they’d make sure the kids were fed. Really, Joe? That’s pretty darn decent of you. Hopefully, if it’s true, if he lives in Las Vegas he’ll go back there. But, alas, he won’t because now that Katherine has custody of those precious kids he sees the money train & he definitely wants to board.

I hope that Mrs. Jackson keeps that man as far from the children.  Hasn’t he done enough damage to Michael and his other siblings!!  MY GOD Katherine, please keep that slimeball away from your grandchildren!!

I read an article that stated that Paris wanted to speak, it was not planned nor did they push her into it, I think it’s time to let this subject go, Michael’s death,his kids, his parents, his life, all of it. Let the man rest in peace and send prayers to the universe for his kids safety and well being and leave it at that………………

He’s an opportunistic creep, but I feel sure by the time those kids reach adolescence they will present problems anyway. Michael, although reputed to be a good parent,was a very strange man, and feel sure that those children being raised in that environment will not be like other children. They have been exposed to a lot of weirdness already, but there is always hope.

I am quite sure Kathrine isn’t going to let Joe make any decisions for Paris. After all she doesn’t live with him anymore.I am sure she will be a fierce advocate for her grandchildren.

I thought Joe and Katherine Jackson were separated or divorced? at least not living together. Just from a family law perspective I would doubt Ms. Rowe has much of a legal argument in terms of parental rights to the children. If she ever legally terminated her parental rights then she doesn’t have any more right than someone coming in off the street. Especially if she’s not been a part of the kids lives. If MJ was the only legal parent of those kids then his will takes precedence of Ms. Rowes womb i believe.
