Liz Smith's Tips to Stay Well

Liz Smith
I hope I’m right that there is too much “scare tactic” going on here and the media just loves making it worse. All I do is wash my hands every hour and try to stay out of crowds. Also, take your vitamins.

Yes, the tried and true sage advice is still the best.  Cover your mouth/nose when you cough/sneeze and wash your hands throughout the day.  Stay well, everyone

You got it right, Liz.  The media makes more of it than necessary.  They just love the incendiary stuff.  I agree with you that the best thing to do is follow normal hygene procedures: wash hands with soap and water; in the absence of them, use Purell or another desinfectant.  Actually, I do that regularly, after using the market basket, the ATM, opening doors (when possible, I use my elbows), stay away from people who are coughing or sneezing, etc.  You can’t avoid it all, but by doing that, you can certainly control what is possible for you.
