Love it! So true.
P.S. If you’re listening Brett Farve, I’ll have you know you have ruined football for me! Ugh!
Here in Minnesota, we are having a somewhat different reaction… ;-)
Oh no Belinda…..
Like most great sports stars, the first "retirement" doesnt count. When he retired from Green Bay it was because the front office didnt believe in him any longer.
He HAD to retire from the Jets, if not the Jets would have had to pay the Packers I think 3 first round picks because Farve went to their division.
He can still play…. and play well… He never should have retired in the first place…. this whole mess he is in stemmed from the Packers front office. They messed up big.
Help yourself. I have it on face book too.
Ill look you up and send you a friend request.

When the future husband and I were in college, long before cable/split screen technology, etc, he would place one TV on top of the other, so he could watch two games at once. Every now and then he would say, " Sweetie, any more chips and queso? And while you’re up, another beer… sweetie?"
Now, he can get his own chips and queso. I’m sticking with the game. Dear Lord.. can the Astros’ management ever get a clue? Ever?
No, No No Roger, you do not understand the depth of my love of watching this man play ball. He made it look easy and every single game was like riding a roller coaster. I’m up and down, screaming at the TV and then curled up on the floor in a ball, agonizing about "yet again" another pick by the opposing team. Then minutes later almost in tears when he connects with one of our receivers. I don’t have kids, but I’m sorry, that has got to be the closest to the joy of birth on the planet!
We Wisconsinites worshipped him as a sports god (little g). And I have not been able to enjoy football since he left. And now that he is playing for one four main rivals…..I can’t forgive him. I know he wanted (and should have) stuck it to Green Bay’s front office, but what about us, his faithful fans.
I feel for you Belinda, I really do.
Im a little distanced from the passion known as a Packer fan, but I truly understand your pain. When the best is now playing against you it just feels wrong. I do know that the Packer fans are the best fans in professional football.
Have you sent your disdain to the Packer front office?
