Liza … I think of kids now as against the innocence of children past, i.e. us, realizing all of the adult world they are exposed to, even question, at a young young age.  They are so quick to see, absorb, and in some ways that totally amaze us, they are little adults-in-the-making.

Your cartoon this week not only made me smile, but it was oh so thought-provoking, wasn’t it???  You always do get into the heart of things, Liza - and I like it!  Joan

Thank you, guys! I have wondered what this generation of little ones will take away from the economic downturn…like depression kids.

My mother, a child of the Depression, washed, dried, and folded up aluminum foil for re-use. She wasn’t short on cash. She was just a product of her childhood.

Love your work, Liza Donnelly.
