Madonna Considers Adopting Again | 03/17/2009 9:20 am
Madonna to Adopt Malawian Baby? Fact or Fiction?

Despite the obstacles Madonna faced adopting David Banda from Malawi, it is true that the 50-year-old pop star is considering adopting another child from the African nation.
Madonna was quoted in the country’s newspaper the Nation saying that she was "considering" adopting another child — but on one condition. " … [I] would only do it if I had the support of the Malawian people and the government."
Since the news hit, Madonna’s mouthpiece Liz Rosenberg confirmed Madge’s desire to expand her family to People magazine.
"Madonna has stated many times that she’d love to adopt again," Rosenberg said.
Madonna also said it gave her great pleasure adopting David Banda, for it paved the way for the creation of adoption laws in Malawi. "I am the template or the role model, so to speak, for future adoptions," the singer said. Besides adopted son David Banda, 3, Madonna is the birth mother to two other children. Daughter Lourdes, 12, who she had with a past lover, and son Rocco, 8, who she had with former husband Guy Ritchie.
Madge, you go girl! As long as you’re able to balance your spectacular career, family and date your young, gorgeous plaything, we think it’s great that you’re able to provide love, shelter and education to any child.
