The Man Who Greets Liz Smith in the Morning

Liz Smith
First thing I think when I wake up is to put the expensive eyedrops in my right eye so pressure won’t build up and so I won’t lose my sight from what is a congenital defect. After that, I think of a cup of coffee. My wonderful aide Denis Ferrara is usually right there with the latter.

love you, Liz! at the moment, first thing i think about is one of the wild birds in my garden, who has an injured leg, and hope he has made it through the night

Liz!!!!  Leave it to you to have an "aide".  Call him what you wish, you naughty lady, but you are leaving me jealous — and I don’t GET jealous.  That my dear lady is truly living … and who deserves that more than you.  I can’t stop smiling.  . you have made my day!!!

Kudos to you Liz. I am thrilled everyday to wake up to my little 15 y.o. dog, Donut….he’s still breathing…hurray! Right now he’s knawing on a biscuit under the kitchen table while I drink coffee and peruse the internet.
