Mel Gibson’s announcement to the family that his Russian girlfriend is pregnant may have been the final straw that pushed estranged wife Robyn to file for divorce.

Two publications report that Gibson’s girlfriend, 39-year-old Oksana Grigorieva, is about three months pregnant with the entertainer’s baby. The National Enquirer reports that in April Gibson shared the baby news with his two children. His 26-year-old twins, Edward and Christian, were stunned and hired an attorney to protect their trust fund, according to the tabloid.

Life & Style also claims to have details of Gibson’s love child. MSNBC reports insiders told the magazine that Robyn knows that Grigorieva is pregnant.

"His wife, Robyn, is telling all her friends that Oksana is pregnant with Mel’s baby," according to a source who spoke to the magazine. "Robyn really doesn’t understand why he wants another child at his age, but she says she knows the woman is pregnant. I get the impression Robyn confronted Mel about it, and he admitted it."

On April 28, Mr. Gibson made a public appearance with his girlfriend at the premiere of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
