It’s about time for his spirit to have peace! Imagine having all that money, association, respect and still not have any interior peace! I’m sorry to say it, but among the news clips shown was one with Michael, someone else holding his umbrella, walking with his parents. I couldn’t help but think: {"There’s his daddy walking in a suit Michael undoubtedly paid for." Joe Jackson pushed those kids relentlessly once he found out they had a marketable talent. Living off your kids is no life at all.

So sad, so much talent lost in a day.  Whatever people may have thought of him, I hope he is happy and at peace now… finally. His music has been part of a lot of cherished memories of growing up for me, each song brings back a specific time period in my life.  I will miss his music which was always from the heart.

I heard a good analogy about why MJ did all the changes to his face…think about how scared this man was of his father who abused him and made fun of him, and to look in the mirror and see that as you age your starting to look more and more like your father - so he changed that look.  I wish he hadnt but he did…

Michael Jackson had his demons. God knows we all know about those and there will be those to remind us. However, I choose to remember the musical genius. I choose to celeberate his "Homecoming" by acknowledging his artistic and philanthropic contributions.

There has Never been a musical talent as celebrated and known on an international scale as Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson created a new music sound. There is no talent in music history that out sold Mr. Jackson in concerts , cd’s, dvd’s, videos, albums and memorabilia etc.

Mr. Jackson was eccentric and an astute businessman. Even though rumors of financial problems are allerged. Mr. Jackson was a collector of various properties and among those the musical books and copyrights of well known artists such as The Beatles. He was in control of his business affairs. He knew the amount of royalties and monies he was due in ever language where he performed down to the last penny.

Little is known about his philanthropic gifts to others not just at home but on an international scale.  Mr. Jackson did not brag about his good works nor seek out photo opts.

There was a period when MTV refused to invite Mr. Jackson and play his music stating his style did not appeal to them nor their audience. They lived to eat crow!

Today his life and legacy is being celebrated. He was admired and loved by millions.

My prayers and condolescences are with his family, friends and fans. may he rest in peace.

I always liked Michael Jackson but I wouldn’t call being over $500 million in debt  when he died yesterday an astute businessman.

Been awhile  that so many stars died within a short time. Tis a shame.

I would prefer to honour MJ’s memory instead of focusing on the negatives that have dog him for half his life. Everyone does bad things at some point in their lives and by saying that I do not acknowledge that Michael have done anything bad to anyone.

Michael Jackson epitomized all the blessings and curses that extraordinary talent can bestow. His world was run by greedy "handlers" who, from the time he was a child star, viewed him as a lucrative commodity. I always saw him as a tragic figure whose sense of self-validation was dependent on adoration from sycophants and children in a very twisted way.
