Cheers to Ivanka Trump. She didn’t look like Grace Kelly — as some insisted — in her fabulous Vera Wang wedding gown, but she looked good enough. She is lovely, for sure, and would have a terrific figure even without the implants.

Good luck to Ivanka’s groom Jared Kushner. He has The Donald to contend with as a father-in-law. Go with God, Jared.
Miss Trump — I doubt she’ll opt for Mrs. Kushner — is an interesting young woman. She turned out considerably more assured, savvy and work-oriented than might have been expected, as the daughter of a self-obsessed gazillionaire. She is no spoilt child of privilege. Well, she is, but she’s no Paris Hilton, let’s put it that way. (Her many titles are associated with her dad’s business, but from all accounts, she doesn’t coast.)
I like her a lot, from what I’ve seen. But marriage is going to be a hell of a journey, for her and Mr. Kushner. Did I mention her father?
One tip. Stop Tweeting, honey. You are too smart for such foolishness. Please, I don’t need to know what you two had for breakfast the morning after.

Half of my former bosses sure show that fact. I find some of college grads have no common sense and I wonder how did they ever get thru school.
These comments are not directed toward Ms Trump since I really do not know that much about her other then she works for her father. Donald Trump is not a good example for the institution of marriage being a serial cheater.
Her wedding gown is gorgeous.
Baby S, point of information: she has a graduate degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Someone correct me if things have changed, but last time I heard, this was a graduate only program from which you get an MBA—Master’s of Business Administration. So, she had to have gone through a four year college and then put one to two years into this graduate degree. Wharton is if not the top then one of the top business schools in the US. While there may be some laggards and party people there (who knows?) the school is not known for that but rather for its sharp business education for which the students have to be very competitive. Not to diminish people who start their own businesses by themselves or simply with help from relatives but going to a school to learn represents a certain kind of dedication. In business it’s considered a value added component.
While a college education may or may not mean anything in itself, these days schools are generally very competitive—not as they were in GWB’s day—the effort Ivanka put into what she is doing certainly says something. Similarly, the fact that Cindy Crawford majored in chemical engineering—-not a simple major— in college says something to me even though she did not take it anyplace.
Say what you will about Donald Trump and wife Ivana, their children have been well educated and have used those educations to become successful business (wo)men with their own work ethics. Of course, the famous name helped, but we do not see them cavorting drunkenly at late night parties or hanging on the family yachts with friends for weeks at a time.
Perhaps if Mr. WoW was not so busy Tweeting, he would not be so interested in gorgeous Ivanka’s dining habits.
Mr. Wow is never busy Tweeting. He does not own a cell phone or a Blackberry or an iPhone. He has never texted or Tweeted and hopes to God he never will….And I often hang up on friends who call me on their sputtering cells. "Get to a landline!"

I thought I was the only one in this country who hadn’t kept up with the technology. I had a car phone once. Half the time it didn’t work because I was in a "dead zone" between cell towers. So I replaced it with pepper spray. Probably more effective against stalkers and other strange creatures who crawl out from the woodwork anyway.
I am amazed at how much time some spend on their social networking. Jane Fonda in particular. I got curious one day out of total boredom. She seems to have hourly updates on one site or another.
I wish Mr. and Mrs. K-T much happiness and good fortune in the future.
How thrilled must The Donald be that his Ivanka grew up to be so talented, bright, charismatic and all the while completely respectable? I’d bet the farm that he’s had more than one private moment on his knees (or in the mirror?) thanking his higher power. Ivanka, independant of her father, is exactly what our popular culture should be spoon-feeding the masses. Instead we creep along like bottom-feeders in the hazy yellow bathwater of sex tape alumni like Hilton and Kardashian.
Ivanka is a stunning looking woman. And she is not an ingenue who is marrying at age 18. Her decision to convert to Judaism shows a realism to not allow the romance of a honeymoon and marriage overshadow the future joys and sorrows of raising a family….family harmony being an asset to any successful marriage. My best wishes to the Kushners.
No pics of Ivana, Mr. Wow? She was there, was she not?
Wow for Mr. Wow. A+
