New Jersey Man Claims Bruce Springsteen Had Affair With His Jersey Girl

Are the "Glory Days" over for Bruce Springsteen and wife, Patti Scialfa?

New Jersey businessman Arthur Kelly has filed for divorce from Ann, his wife of 17 years, and Star Magazine passed on his claim that their marriage fell apart because she "committed adultery with one Bruce Springsteen, who resides in Rumson, New Jersey, and Colts Neck, New Jersey, at various times and places too numerous to mention." A source told Star that Mrs. Kelly and Springsteen met at their local gym and got close, but neither are talking to the press. Mr. Kelly wants joint custody of the couple’s two daughters, 13 and 10, and wants his future ex to pay child support. Court papers also say a restraining order was issued between the Kellys.

Springsteen, 59, and the 53-year-old E-Street Band backup singer Scialfa have also been married for 17 years and have three children. The Boss is no stranger to these kinds of allegations. In 2006, reports claimed he and Scialfa were splitting because of an affair he had with a September 11 widow he met in 2001; he denied that. Plus, there were rumors in 1988 that he was cheating on then-wife, actress Julianne Phillips, with Scialfa.

Let’s hope these rumors aren’t true. After all, as Bruce himself sings, a good man is hard to find!

If the 1988 rumors were true, all I can say is, what goes around comes around….

Didn’t he do the same thing when he was married to Julianne Phillips… with Patti Scialfa?  Or at least that’s what the rumor mill was churning out back in the day…

Divorce.  How sad.  Does anyone know if they had children?  Still I wish the best for both of them on their new journey in living separate lives.

Ladyhawke ..

Jeez…we are talking here about a singer…a celebrity…NOT political leanings!!! How typical wingnut..hateful, mean and tunnel visioned.

Boss…say it ain’t so!!

I hate the ‘rumor mill’ postings.  But I once got to see Bruce Springsteen, live, in a small little dive club called the Decade in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh.  Totally by happenstance he ‘stopped in.’  An awesome performance…I’ll never forget it…and my kids had to hear me (during the Superbowl)…’did I ever tell you…’ ‘yes mom, we know.’

Since they have kids, I hope its not true…or that it can be worked out.

Let’s see Rock legend not faithful to his wife…cliche?  Expected.  I’m sure Patty Scalifia is not surprised in the least, she probably already knows/knew.   I expect that when you marry such a high profile person whether it’s in entertainment, politics, or business that dealing with "other women" is sadly par for the course.

I have been a huge boss fan attending over 20 concerts including being part of the half time show.  I pray that it is not true.  I hope this man who alleged this is just trying to catch a easy wave of fame.  But I feel bad for his kids having to go through this heartache.  Bruce is a religious Catholic man and this is so against our faith.  He often or should I say mostly mentions Mary, God or Jesus in this songs somewhere.  I would hope that Bruce would learn from the last time when he was married to Jullianne what pain he put many people through with his affairs with Patty.  This including his band.  He lost respect and friendships over this last time.  I do not judge and do not know what goes on behind his closed doors and really this is not any of our business.  No matter what occupation you choose, adultery is adultery.  We only has ten God Given Laws to abide and very sad that a man in his power would think he wouldn’t get caught.  Everyone gets caught.  You can not hide from the almighty.  Please Bruce keep your family together.  Patty is a very educated, beautiful and talented woman.  Not one person has it all.  You need to stay attached and learn to forgive and accept that this woman you married, mother of your children can make you happy in all ways if YOU allow it Bruce.  I will pray for your family.  Keep giving us great music from the E street band and love what God has given you.  You have much more then most people on this earth.  God has given you great looks, intelligence, talent, power and mostly a family who loves you.  You do give back but need to stay grounded to your faith or it will be taken away.  Use your blessings to make us happy and a role model for young boys (I have 7 children and everyone one of them have you loaded on their IPOD) Rock on Boss!!!!!
