OJ Simpson Appeals Kidnapping and Robbery Charges to Nevada Supreme Court

Disgraced football star OJ Simpson, who was found guilty in October 2008 of 12 charges that ranged from kidnapping to armed robbery, asked a Nevada Supreme Court on Tuesday to overturn the convictions. Simpson claims he was denied a fair trial due to judicial misconduct, errors in sentencing and lack of racial diversity on the jury.
The conviction stemmed from an incident that happened in September 2007, when Simpson and accomplice Clarance Stewart broke into a Las Vegas hotel room, branded weapons and demanding the surrender of Simpson collectibles from a pair of professional sports memorabilia dealers. He was sentenced to up to 33 years behind bars.
Simpson’s 1994 not guilty conviction in the killings of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman caused a racial and social divide in the nation for quite some time.

oj…your luck has ran out….rot in jail!!!
Unlike Rocky Rocky, I do not believe he was proven not guilty. The jury did come back with a not guilty verdict in the criminal trial. In the civil trial, they found against him.
This latest trial may have had an element of revenge to it. But will the man never learn to keep his nose clean? He got pretty lucky in that first trial and needs to realize it and behave accordingly. OK, I suppose he has a right to appeal if he wants to. But I just cannot muster up much concern for the guy.
