Oprah Invites Ellen to Share O Cover (Video)

Oprah Winfrey made a surprise appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’s talk show today, but her announcement was by far the most surprising.

It’s been a running joke on Ellen’s show that she wants to appear on the cover of Oprah’s magazine. Oprah, of course, usually appears solo, except for this month’s edition, which features First Lady Michelle Obama.

Well, it seems Oprah’s ready to branch out, because she officially invited Ellen to stand by her side for a forthcoming shoot: "When I first heard about this. I thought it was such a fantastic idea. I was only sorry that I did not think of it myself. So I am calling to officially invite you on the cover of O."

DeGeneres was beside herself with joy, saying, "I can’t believe you are serious about this, I am freaking out right now! Now my goal is gonna be for this to be the biggest-selling issue you’ve ever had!"

My two favorite Aquarian women on one cover! I love it! I saw Oprah surprise Ellen today and it was a riot. Ellen and Oprah are two incredibly gifted and giving women. They have both brightened the lives of so many with their giving hearts. I am just crazy about them both and am thrilled I already subscribe to "O" so I won’t miss the issue!!

If Oprah were a man this comment would never have  been made! Women speak of equality and sisterhood yet when another woman achieves her goals she’s attacked. Oprah is an intelligent, savvy, educated, and creative business person. Her success has allowed her to be in a position to boost the careers of others. This is not about ego, it’s about talent! I can assure you the likes of Dr. Phil —-Dr. Oz—-Dr. Robin—-Nate Berkus—Suze Orman—countless unheard of authors—-chefs—-persons with businesses and ideas—audience members——viewers have been enriched and encouraged to pursue their dreams and to live their best life as a result of her programming—-and business genius/savvy. Lets not forget her Angel Network——-contests——just to name a few. You should be ashamed of yourself! You’ve insulted women by referring to Oprah as "that big woman." Oprah is a role model to little girls, women, little boys and men everywhere! There is only one Oprah! There are those who’ve borrowed and continue to borrow her ideas. However, it has true genius !I will say this sibelle daubigne in the immortal words of Tyra Banks "KISS OPRAHS FAT ASS!" Mediocrity Always Attacks Excellence!

You are on target with your comment about Suze Orman. I own a couple of her books and respect her financial advice. Wishing you the best of health, peace, great joy and success!  So Long!!!!

Correction—-I want to be very clear—-However, it has true genius! The sentence should read—However Oprah has true genius! My goal is to be supportive not to tear down!

I saw the different Ellen shows and then this one and went, "You Go Girl!"

I also watched the show where she waited for 11 mins to talk to Oprah.

What’s now the chances of getting George Clooney to appear on her show now? :grins:
