Oprah Joins Twitter, Tweets to Demi Moore

Oprah Winfrey opened an account on Twitter Friday morning, and she wasted no time "tweeting" — meaning updating her status.
Her first tweet at twitter.com/Oprah:
"HI TWITTERS. THANK YOU FOR A WARM WELCOME. FEELING REALLY 21st CENTURY."
Indeed, Oprah, welcome to the world of viral social networking.
The media mogul apparently has been tweeting all day. For lunch, she tweeted: "hi jimmy order a reuben for me." She then wrote about her dog Sadie, who is being treated for the parvo virus: "hi everyone. sadie’s great. gets her rabies vaccine today."
Oprah’s also replied to friend Demi Moore, saying "@mrskutcher count me in for 20,thousand nets," referring to Ashton Kutcher’s promise to donate 10,000 mosquito nets for World Malaria Day if he beat CNN in gathering one million followers on Twitter.
Well, Kutcher trumped CNN Thursday night. At the time of this post, Kutcher’s Twitter account at twitter.com/aplusk has 1,041,096 followers.
