"visions" are not given to be set in stone, rather messages to be passed to those involved in the vision. I have taken a lot of heat at times, and alienation by people at the time, for passing what I saw. Only to have them rethink later when a time came, and the probability of the vision happening. With the thought/knowledge in thier minds already, diversions were made and another realtiy was created. We can always recreate the events in our lives.

I have communication with my loved ones.  My first connection was after my 16 year old grandson died.  He comes to me and we have communication.  It’s wonderful and as Peggy says healing comes with knowledge.

This is a subject matter that is difficult to openly discuss.

So many people are negative about this ability.  In the past I’ve mentioned my gift and been made fun of by one of our posters……she called me (nastily) the women who thinks she talks to the dead.

When one can share their gifts, it is a gift returned.

I have had communication with other people, but this has not been something I’ve worked at.. My grandson told me if I feel draied after working with someone I should draw back until my healing is completed.

Dona, you are so right when you say:This is a subject matter that is difficult to openly discuss.

Try living in the Bible belt and then say something about this genre of information.

I started to tell my family what was going to happen when I was 5 years old.

The ridicule comes from people who are frightened by the unknown. It is not a gift just for one person, we could all be "in touch" if we truly want to be.

I am delighted for you.

Hugs.

Dona, I am happy for you.  It must be wonderful to have death not be the end for you with these people whom you love.

Dona,

It seems like in the recent past this has gone from taboo to chic in some form. You have a lot of people picking up tarot, or whatever means in trying to communicate, without any knowledge of who they might be listening to, or being influenced by. And if every energy was a light being, we would be existing in Utopia. Even loved ones can drain your energy, they need your energy to lock in the connection. Always know who is working with you, and clean, clear and remove energies as routine in your life.

One of my daughters one time at a fair, wanted to sit with a Tarot reader. When she sat down, the first thing the woman said was "my guides say that you are thinking about suicide!" If she could have seen "her guides" that were standing around her feeding her info by way of her card flipping, she would have needed depends for a long time. She made some kind of hand movement after I said something to her, and said that now the energy was clear, somebody should have told the energies what the hand movement meant.

Blessings

Tee Zee:  Delighted!  This is such an important topic.  I’m amazed how few people respect its gravity.  What is the meaning of life?  And what happens when we die? There are answers here. I’ve been privileged to meet many people who are gifted in mediumship and have psychic/healing/intuitive abilities. Peggy Rometo is one and how wonderful she writes for our site.  I have read mountains about  the subject (right now I’m reading A New Science of he Paranormal by Lawrence LeShan, Ph.D. published by Quest Books).  My favorite quote is from the French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin: "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience."

Joni,

When this world truely gravitates towards accepting that quote as part of our life experience, I think change will be incredible on all levels. I can see it happening, just watching the stats on my site. My own brother who has been my biggest critic since I can remember, is now my biggest supporter. :-) Doesn’t sound like much, but when the allienation by your own blood goes away, that really brings the changes in this world home to me.

We all have times when we think of someone and then they call.  Most of us just call that coincidence and let it go at that.  I have learned that that those incidents can be expanded to recognize when a message is coming through.  If we don’t just dismiss it, we can get a pretty good idea of what these thoughts mean.  Some people call them angels but all of us had times when we don’t go somewhere or do something and there was an accident on the road or a bad snowstorm.  Acknowledge those times and you might find that you are getting more help than you think.  For instance, you are looking for a job and can’t find anything.  Then, all of a sudden, someone calls and says they heard of someone hiring.  It might not be what you want and it doesn’t pay what you need, but it can tide you over until something better comes along.  We have to be open to these  little aids.  These are the kinds of things "angels" help us with.

That was a fascinating article!  She seems to be on a fascinating journey.

Wish Peggy interacted sometimes with us on this site.  I can’t imagine ever having the funds to pay $250 for a half hour to talk to her, or to anyone :)  Of course I realize that most people are not in my special, poverty-to-qualify-for-health care economic bracket ;)

Peggy, this is very nice of you!  And it is interesting that you used the word "honest"…when I was at a retreat a few months ago, we all picked up little tokens which each had a word on them, and the one I got said "honesty" and I’ve kept it by my bedside!

Peggy,

I am a Iowa to KC transplant :-) Where did you come from in Iowa, and what area of KC did you live in? Just curious, I came to this area during the last recession.

Thank you Joni for posting this story on WoW! That was a very touching article about Peggy.  I was touched in an emotional way.  I am truly grateful this woman is a part of my life.  She is beautiful and authentic. I will always be most grateful for her insights and what she shares to all of us.  I am a better woman than I was 5 years ago. I honor my free will and will continue to strive in being the best I can be for myself and those around me.  I thank Peggy for assisting me.  I truly have felt and seen a difference within my own body, mind and soul !!

Laura
