'Sex and the City 2' Hits Theaters May 28, 2010

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

Mark your calendars! "Sex and the City 2" will hit theaters on May 28, 2010.

While we’re looking forward to another "date" with friends Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte, what in the world are we going to catch up on?

Carrie and Big are married. Miranda and Steve are happy in Brooklyn. Charlotte has two beautiful daughters and a husband who worships her. And Samantha, well, we have no doubt that she has definitely been, um, busy.

We also wonder: What are they going to do about Carrie Bradshaw’s missing trademark mole? Are they going to acknowledge that it’s gone in the movie? Will the makeup artist put it back in place?

Regardless, we’ll be first in line!

Sequels are dangerous avenues to travel.  The TV series definitely left the outcome for the four women unsettled.  Therefore, a movie was just waiting to be made.  They made it.  Now another?  Hmmm?  In the literary world, I think this would be called a "pot boiler".  I shall hope for a good plot and some laughs along the way.

I cannot wait!!  I might be lame to admit but…….I love, love, love the series and the movie.  I’m not worried about what they’ll do, just glad they’re going to do it.  I, too, will make the sacrifice; dress up and drink a cosmo or six with the group!  Harmless fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

I  watched "Sex and the Cty" on tv a few times!  I could  not relate to these characters. They were bland and uninteresting! These women were not liberated , intelligent and articulate. They spent their time whoring around ; later crying in bitter disappointment. The characters suffered from lack of self esteem and self respect!

I borrowed the DVD  of the film from the library; to see what all the fuss was about and just as I expected  It was all Much To Do About Nothing!

"Sex and the City" does nothing but victimization and stereotyping of women!

I don’t know anyone who takes their values from a tv show.  Some of the strongest, most intelligent women I know loved the tv show and movie.  It’s called escapism.  It’s fiction and fun.  Here’s the best part, if you don’t like it, you don’t have to watch it or attend the movie.  To each her own; it’s what makes the world go round!

Put me in the "I love Sex and the City" catagory!!  I own every episode and also the movie.  I can watch the move over and over.  I can relate to so much of the girl’s life.  I have NEVER felt like a victim or felt sterotyped.  I love being a woman and even though I have lived through lots of "drama" in my life….I would never change a thing.
