Actor Shia LaBeouf Says Mother Shayna LaBeouf Walked Around Naked, Smoked Weed With Him and Is the 'Sexiest Woman'

The mothers of famous children often find themselves in the spotlight. And the mother of actor Shia LaBeouf, Shayna LaBeouf, is no exception, especially after her son called her "the sexiest woman" in the world and said she isn’t afraid to walk around the house naked and smoke marijuana every so often with her child.

Speaking to Playboy magazine, "The Insider" reports that the 22-year-old star of the upcoming "Transformers" movie had glowing words for Shayna:

Probably the sexiest woman I know is my mother. She’s an ethereal angel. Nobody looks like that woman. If I could meet my mother and marry her, I would. I would be with my mother now, if she weren’t my mother, as sick as that sounds.

Shia, whose shot to fame was starring in a Disney Channel show "Even Stevens," goes on to reveal that his mother was quite the free spirit:
The nudity was weird, especially when her friends came over. All of them would just be naked around the house. That was strange for me, and it was really bizarre when my friends were there. You’ve got your little buds over, and Mom’s, like, playing naked connect the dots or whatever. She’s in the middle of goddess-group time, where it’s literally a bunch of naked women tracing auras around one another’s bodies with incense and then sitting together and humming for prolonged periods of time.

LaBeouf, arrested in 2008 for misdemeanor drunk driving after a car accident, also talks about smoking marijuana with his family. Star magazine quotes the young star telling Playboy:

I grew up with a bunch of hippies, and marijuana was always around. Pot was never looked at as a negative thing. I could smoke it on holidays with my parents, and we were all good. I like pot. It has never been a monster for me. I can put limits on it. But I definitely saw from a very young age what drugs can do to you.

Tell us: With Mother’s Day right around the corner, what do you think of Shia LaBeouf’s recent ode to his mother?

"…middle aged goddess group…tracing auras…and humming for long periods of time."

Mental image there that might scar me for life.  Must go to look at shoes online to cleanse my cerebral palate…

Hope Shia has a good shrink.

When he first came on  the star scene, I remember reading that he and his parents made money by standing on sidewalks and doing little acts..  juggling,  card tricks, whatever.  But from what he is now saying, CPS should have interfered.  Walking around in the buff in front of your own kid smacks of ignorance but in front of other children is way over the line.

He’s a very personable guy.  On Letterman, he was quite entertaining.

I dunno. you can never trust how the press represents things. Taken at complete face value as written (as opposed to in context in an in depth conversation) I’d think that if I were a girl interested in this kid romantically right now i might think twice. Do I really want to marry a guy who wants to marry his mother? hmmmm…. a bit oedipal for me.

Alternate lifestyles always shock us but I remember the 60’s and 70’s well and there was a lot of nudity and flowers in the hair, pot smoking and what have you.  Most of the children of that era that I know about have grown up quite straight.  If fact, dealt with a lady named Karma and really liked that for a name.  She didn’t.  So, as they say, what goes around comes around.  Actually, I kind of miss the peace and love of the time before the hard drugs and all the shootings became news.

Well to be 22, he had to be born in about 1987ish…so I wonder where the latent Flower Children population went (obviously wherever the LeBeouf clan called home).  Maybe its generational…and grammie did the aura thingy too…

Kids are quite resilient and Shia seems to have a sense of humor about his parents.  Think I read that for a time his father lived in Shia’s garage.  Very, very unconvential family.  Methinks there are still enclaves of hippies living in the California back country, wherever that is.  Of course, California is known for its unconvential people.  I know I love it here even though I am so middle-of-the-road that I would probably fall over if I deviated from that position.

This just smells to me….I think no mother should be this open with her children….totally grosses me out!  Call me a prude!!!

Actually I agree with you AT LEAST 100%. You have no sense of self respect or common sense when you subject a child to behavior like that.

Ok I thought it was funny.  Yes his Mother was a little off compared to mine but hey whatever floats her boat.  He turned out just fine…If he wants to marry someone like his Mother, what is wrong with that?  Maybe he wants someone who is free spirited and not shy of her body, nothing wrong with that.  Now I would not walk around naked in front of my child’s friends and am surprised those kids didnt tell their parents, but who knows, could have b/c it wasnt mentioned.

I just thought it was funny.  :)

Well, that’s pretty weird.  If it was my family, I would keep that kind of info under wraps - pardon the pun!
