Sheila Nevins's Movie, Starring ... Liz Smith?

Sheila Nevins
I would like to be represented by Scherezade (sic). She is the story of my life. Telling stories to save her life. That is what I do. I would be played by Lizzie Smith who is the only one who can pull off those many veils and yarns without tripping. It would be Liz’s debut and starring role. I would (she would) spin many a tale and when she got bored amusing le roi — it is she who would behead the King rather than the other way round. This feminist twist would make the legendary story contemporary with the swirling Liz in charge of the brutal but dramatic decapitation finale. At the Academy Award ceremony for best picture based on an ancient-tired theme, Liz would accept the honor graciously acknowledging only "me" as the sole inspiration for the acclaimed film.

Absolutely no offense, or disrespect intended but all I could think when reading this was that it would be great Mel Brooks material.

Sheila,

Any chance you blog anywhere or have a column? Just curious, you have just a vast amount of knowledge and just wondered if it was shared.
