Stolen Moments: The Photographs of Ronny Jaques (Photos)
A special look at the exquisite work of ‘one of the most influential — and least recognized — magazine photographers of his generation.’
Stolen Moments: The Photographs of Ronny Jaques features some of the rarest photographs taken by Ronny Jaques. Jaques (1910 - 2008) is described by his dear friend and author of Stolen Moments, Pamela Fiori, as “one of the most influential — and least recognized — magazine photographers of his generation.” Indeed, he worked among highly recognizable greats in his field, including, Richard Avedon and Milton Greene. Jacques’s photographs have appeared in several prized publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Town&Country and Gourmet. The skilled artisan traveled the world shooting the fashion, food, cultures, stars and locales that truly captured all that was mystical about the 1940s, ’50s and beyond. Thanks to the publishers of Glitterati Incorporated, here is a special tribute to the photographer’s work.
