'Britain's Got Talent' Contestant Susan Boyle Captures Hearts (Video)
British singing sensation wOws us … and Simon Cowell.

Susan Boyle
Susan Boyle captured the hearts of "Britain’s Got Talent" fans and, more importantly, Simon Cowell, fellow judges and YouTube crawlers.
Boyle, 47 and unemployed, got the crowd standing and cheering within seconds of beginning her rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream,” from "Les Miserables." Check out the crowd as they cheer for Boyle, who some are now saying could win the entire competition.
Actress Demi Moore said the performance "moved me to tears." Will you have the same reaction? We did!

Just take a gander at many males who are/have been not "society’s" image of the best-dressed blokes in the world, but never is there a wink of judgement on males! This wondrous lass (paleontologically appears Irish, and as one who cared for her parents so common to Irish women …) deserves to have her most heartfelt wish. Kudos to Scotland and the "villages" of this remarkable woman.
I daresay the news of Brogan appeared first on Wowowow from one of our Wowowowers! ;0)
This was a beautiful story. Way to blow that smirking audience away!!!
No makeover needed - she is all about a beautiful sound. There was a time when great entertainers of any ilk did not have to be made of plastic and shaped like Barbie dolls. Maybe we should harken back to that. You are so right Lila Kuh. There was a time when we never even saw the performer. We would hear them on radio or if we really loved them we simply enjoyed them on the records we bought.
I’ve seen Les Mis almost a dozen times. I love that song.
This beautiful video reminds me of another beautiful Britain’s Got Talent moment. http://www.webwytchery.com/stuff/SuchBeauty.htm
Rebecca G, you read my mind! I was just about to post a link to him, too — just to remind folks. Here’s another one of the actual first performance:

Here is a 14 year old girl who is just plain fun to listen to. I found her when I was looking for Paul before I got to your post.
