Susan Boyle's Makeover! | 04/24/2009 10:20 am
Susan Boyle's New Hairstyle (Photo)

As wowOwow’s Grande Dame of Dish predicted on Wednesday, Susan Boyle, beloved British singing sensation, got a makeover. Let’s call it the beginnings of a transformation.
Boyle, 47, the seemingly nervous contestant on ITV’s "Britain’s Got Talent," exuded confidence this morning (photo above from The Sun) after spending 90 minutes at a salon near her home.
Boyle’s signature do has been the her gray-sprinkled, chestnut-brown mop of curls, the same look she sported when she sang "I Dreamed a Dream" in the talent competition and captured our hearts with her soaring vocals.
Her talent, while incredible, is not the only quality about Boyle that’s charmed the world; her shy demeanor and modest lifestyle make Boyle as lovable as a teddy bear. While we think Boyle looks fresher and ten years younger with the shorter, darker locks, we hope she stays true to herself.

I think this is a perfect little makeover. She just looks more "freshened up" with a color and cut, and some eyebrow work. I don’t think she needs to do anything else. I think she’s perfect now and lookin’ spicy with with her leather jacket and Burberry scarf!
Go Susan Boyle, I hope you win it all!
She looks charming; as a woman who spent almost a decade killing herself with booze, with the resulting damage to my looks, I know that the most important aspect of my new life is my new inner self. But after losing the booze-generated 20 lbs., getting my complexion back, and frankly, looking now like my outsides match my insides, I can tell you that knowing that I look as beautiful on the outside as I feel on the inside has been an enormous psychological boost. I still look like me, only better. I think Susan does, too, and I hope she feels that beautiful inside!
Pax.
Congratulations on confronting the booze bug!!! I’ve seen way too many lives completely ruined by the lies "liquid courage"generate. I hope you continue to grow in peace and self assurance. It’s a hard battle but the pay off is more than worth the effort. The wind at your back!
Thanks, Mary. "Booze bug" is a great way of putting it.
Have a wonderful day!
Thanks, Lee. The women here on wowowow are truly kind, loving and supportive; just like sisters should be!
Blessings and love to you and all here.
